I get what she did. Dad dies- stepmom gets everything. That's on her dad for not making clear what he wanted for his things after he passed. But breaking in a window to steal is not the way to go. Anyone else would be in jail.
Her stepmother shared the estate with her but like all politicians, Mitchell wanted it all and when the courts refused to give her what she wanted, she went out to steal it. She should be glad she was caught because she would get even larger a sentence if she used the laptop she stole to transfer money out of her stepmother's accounts.

She denies the charge? I guess she was just sleepwalking into her stepmothers house and only woke up when the caught her.

Even tho Mitchell has admitted her fault (in a fashion), she has not been formally charged. Innocent until proven guilty. I am a staunch republican and 2A supporter. I want her out but not at the cost of lawlessness.
