I am Indian since 1994 I love Italy still I love italy
Fantastic. I was on Norton Street Liechhardt when we won this. Road was packed. Loved it.
Italy, the best expression after won penalty kick.
Penalty Kicks with the World Cup on the line is nothing short of immense pressure. Wow! 🔥

La vendetta dell'Euro 2000. Grande azzurri, campioni eterni!
Azzurri Forever ❤️🇮🇹⚽️🏆
Del Piero, Cannavaro, Gattuso, Pirlo, Toni, Camoranesi, Totti, Zambrotta, Buffon, Grosso, Barzagli…those who say this italian national team was not strong, just don’t understand much about football. Cannavaro was undoubtely the best defender of the tournament, while Buffon was still the best goalie worldwide. Useless to say they were both playing for Juventus .
one of the boys back in our primary school had an genuine del piero shirt with puma emblem, i was quite jealous of him those days.
07/09/2006: I was 14 years old and I remember that World Cup a lot. The time flies...
Cannavaro what a calm personality, remained quite till the last kick....perfect captain!!
Most sytlish team ever with most stylish names... One of the greatest world cups ever... ITALIA. Thanks, Zain from Expertini Properties India.

i had champain between the leg during the last penalty ! The lead jumped out when the ball cross the line ! We scream and party at the same time ❤
This's Italian most iconic national team of all time 😤
2002 was more iconic then 2006

I was five years old, and I still haven't forgotten that night.
Exact same penalties happened yesterday at Qatar
Imagine telling Italian fans at that moment of time that they won't be seeing their team in the World Cup again for the next 20 years 😶🌫
In the wave of dramatic 2022 final.. people forget this super dramatic finale
Not me. Italy was boring and known to park the bus
Trezeguet had that euro 2000 golden goal karma lol

This is a revenge for Euro 2000!...Trezeguet was a hero for scoring a winning goal in 2000 and now the only one who missed the penalty
Yeah karma for Euro 2000
After Grosso hits the penalty I usually have Waka Waka music sounding in my mind.
Two defenders, Two Midfielders, 1 Attacker. All scored
Creo que este fue el último gran mundial. Antes de que el fútbol se volviera tan comercial. Por cierto el primer mundial que ví siendo un niño ya completamente lucido.

THE BEST WORLD CUP
one of the best moments of my life ❤️
Seeing this pop up on the feed brought a flood of nostalgia. I vividly remember watching this game live as a kid, so many football legends in action. And then there's that moment when Grosso steps up for the winning pen... the trauma as an Australian fan still hits harder than my father
As the World Cup starts today I realize that I still have post traumatic stress from Italy not being there…. I can’t even cheer for any other team …😩😩😢 what is this curse ?! Forza Azzurri 🇮🇹🇮🇹
Italy played some serious football at this world cup. Their defensive organisation was out of this world
This Italian team was packed with legends
This was 4am back then when I was a kid. Alone watching on the living room , screaming my heart out when grosso scored, afraid to awake my parents 🔥
This is the last knockout match for Italy in WC 🤯
I'm just 12 years old at that time
