Coincidentally, that was the only boss I beat first try during my first DLC run. I got clapped by a few of the others. (Pre nerf Gaius, Radahn, Ghost horse dude, Messmer, etc)
The only boss that I easily destroyed was ghost horse dude, but that was because I was way over powered and I used holy weapons

Dude fingerprint shield will help... btw I love watching people suffer in this game
