The guitar player in this video was Bryan Ping Ho Chung (aka taipobryan) from Hong Kong SAR of China. The original taipobryan's channel "Jimi Hendrix Forever!" (3 Oct 2006 - 19 Mar 2010) was once the number one UA-cam cover channel for Jimi Hendrix (2007 - 2010). The channel covered all Jimi Hendrix songs (182) and had 4,894 subscribers. Finally, it was suspended due to copyright claimed by Sony Corp. The video you are watching is from a new channel created by taipobryan again to share the message of peace, love and happiness. this is really good. What does it matter that he is asian? that shouldnt make him a fail.. He has lots of talent..more than me and probably most of you haters out there that are just ragging on him because he is asian. Why are people so racist.
I realized that people who look down his playing or say bad criticisms to him can play guitar, but they are way worse than taipo brian can do.

To mute unwanted string noise try using the bottom of your left hand fingers to mute bottom strings and rest the side of your right palm on strings above .this should help u only let the notes your fretting ring out.thats really the one thing you need to work on but your doing great.

nope, that's either a regular lefty Strat flipped upside down or it's one of the Hendrix Woodstock Strats that Fender made in the 1990's. I have a Voodoo Strat and the body of it is right handed with a lefty neck on it. The only difference you'd see in the body of a Voodoo Strat and a regular righty Strat is the neck pickup is tilted in the opposite direction.

This song requires a certain level of feeling which you are lacking... sorry, I'm not saying your a bad player, you just need to work on your transitions and timing. It's the little things that people incorporate that make songs like these incredible.

Tehnicly hes not good as some guys wich play hendrix perfect tone by tone. But if I have a bar and want somebody to play Hendrix live, I would call this guy.
