RE inspiring presence, being able to double activate in KT is valued highly and is often very effective - the more flexible the limitations the better. Perhaps there’s some false narrative of the value of IP from that source. My experience is that the mechanic doesn’t translate as effectively in WC for a variety of reasons relating to the mechanics of melee, and requiring Leaders.
I use the same list in Jade Obelisk (but i like more the Sphiranx.. gimme the move and HP bag i dont have with the list) and yes, the slow move is a big problem and a big risk so anyone with a double six can oneshot desecrator .

Can come in two forms: deathmaster if you lack speed, or master moulder if you want to go nasty, pairing it up with a chaos spawn with spite. as soon as it made its free reaction to get into combat, you can whip it for a double. naaasty nasty. also, if you hate bloodpriest, give bilepiper a go
I agree it's sad. but some warbands are so non-functional that even in casual play they can be frustrating to use, so I had to be honest about it. I would hate to accidentally steer someone towards a warband that will make them never want to play warcry again.
This is perfect! I finally started playing through the ghur boxes with my kid. He really likes the rotmire creed

He's on the same base as a Varanguard, so that's a copy of the varanguard profile but with "Karanak" written in.

What I hate about HoH is that they're tripple hungry. So mixing them up with bloodkines seems like a great idea. I have to try this 👍

My issue is the S2D auras effect themselves, where the skaven one doesn't.

You just can't help but trash on Claws of Karanak. Even in a starter list. Makes me sad.
