International Loadstar 1600 4x4 for a daily???

- I drove this classic 4200 dollar monstrosity home 250 miles yesterday and I love it. This truck is like spintires or snow runner irl. 1967 international LOADSTAR 1600 4x4 with a locker and a winch it'll get you in or out of places you have no right being in a truck this big. #offroad #adventure #classictrucks #4x4 #exploration #repair

I ran a 1965 1700 series 4x4 as a daily driver/grocery getter.
It had the Howe Bros. front differential, full floating axles,
a Detroit locker in the rear.
I loved the ol girl.
Rust finally caused the demise of it...
Was the slowest vehicle I have ever driven...7:17 gears in it...but it got me out of anything that I put it through..
Slowly but assuredly...
I had it insured for "pleasure use only ", which drove the D.O..T. inspectors nuts...
That is one cool truck!

I hope parts are going to be easy to find we have a couple 1980s International trucks and we cannot find parts for them another friend had 1 1980s International and could not even find a distributer he had to go with a aftermarket and had a h*** getting it hooked up But that would make a sweet daily driver if you could get it reliable and parts are easy to find at your local part store
And don't forget it needs a set of gym poles on it for lifting and stuff🤣🤣
Parts aren't all that difficult to find for them. 4 wheel drive components might be tricky but I have a plan for that. The 345 was available in the scouts so they made plenty. Definitely not gonna be able to get parts at AutoZone but ebay and oldinternationaltrucks.com
@@everydayanadventure I'll have to tell my bosses about that Internet site maybe we can get parts for them and get them traded off
what are you doing with the tank?
Probably just set it off to the side for now. I was working on pulling it off yesterday but couldn't get the dozer to start so I could pick it up.
