@@teratomago-blosser8665 Yes I am so glad we did virtual. My son has an IEP also and they have worked with him on accommodations. It is harder with no teacher teaching the material but we have been able to help him. Admittedly it helps that my husband is good at math and he learns it then teaches it to my son lol But I am so glad he can work at his own pace. He has IEP because he is on the autism spectrum. Having to be on the computer at certain times etc would hurt him I think. I got an email this morning saying that if anyone wanted to switch to or from virtual they have to do it by the 15th of this month. You might see if he can switch to virtual. My son does well grade wise but has trouble with time constraints and pacing the work.. They removed the time limits on finals etc for his IEP.
I just have to say, I absolutely love Karli’s style !! She’s absolutely stunning and the way she talks about others just shows how big of a heart she really has 💗💗
hi! junior here! i feel more comfortable staying home personally. my school has opened once but closed back down after a week back in november . i didn’t go choose to go back because it felt unsafe.personally i have decided that I will go back to school once i get a covid vaccine. me and my friends don’t hang out much because of the risk, and i don’t really go anywhere besides the grocery store so i definitely don’t really feel comfortable going to school. my parents and grandparents are also super high risk so i would choose to stay home for that reason as well. but yeah that’s my plan!
i also get better grades online and it’s a lot better for my mental health. i also went to a small family gathering (around 15 people) on new year’s and i felt super unsafe so i would definitely feel super anxious in school.
We feel very fortunate that we were always homeschoolers so nothing really changed for us. I give you guys a lot of credit for hanging in there and doing well with virtual. It’s also good to see kids who want to go back in person being able to do that as well.
Our schools here in Massachusetts are on a hybrid plan. The kids are in the classroom two days a week. You can also opt to do only virtual. Parents are really fighting to have kids in school full time. The teachers are against it. Hopefully the vaccine distribution will speed up and we can return to normal!

I use Canvas where my teachers post my work, but everyday we have a set zoom call for each of my classes to go over our work that is assigned for that day, if that makes sense haha

I’m glad despite your thoughts you let your kids decide for themselves to go to school or not . In my state everything is open and we have the highest cases everyday and highest deaths and classes get cut off every 2 weeks when 5 more kids or teachers get COVID . But I just moved to another state with insanely high cases and deaths lol

We’re returning on February 23rd here in Washington! We also have a hybrid or completely online option. I’m going to go in-person for a few days when we can, and if I don’t like the environment, I’ll just be staying online! I don’t really have a problem with online, to be honest!
I have done alpha omega academy which is like the new program chase is using and I have learned more from the online school than I learned in public school.

In Northern Ontario where I live I am doing my college program online. I am enjoying it a lot. The nice part I do get a lot of One on One time with my professor on video chat to get help on my work. Getting my work do in the morning and then try and just work on my side hustle business in the afternoon or bring the dog for a walk.

My daughter is a senior at Monroe she continued online she said it didn’t make sense to go to school just to do virtual in school and learning labs... so sad she won’t go to school at all for senior year.
In Ontario Canada we have a similar thing where you have the option to be in person or online but its a hybrid model for in person for high school so you only attend 2-3 days a week depending on your schedule
If everybody would’ve followed the dynamics at the beginning of last year and shut things down and everyone stayed home in quarantine we wouldn’t be having these issues but so many of you and I say that simply that had to get out and go to target and go to the malls and go to the restaurant and yes y’all did. That now it’s been a struggle through the whole country. And you want things to get back to normal because you miss the all and you miss shopping and going out to eat everyone does not just you although y’all are a little Extreme on the whole process. I tested positive to Covid I battled it for a month I still have residual problems it is a real thing
it infuriates me when i am watching people go out and doing unnecessary things. people are dying. since march, i haven’t been out to eat, got my nails done, gone shopping in the mall, or anything else that is UNNECESSARY. it’s ridiculous and irresponsible.

I honestly don’t think that’s the whole case. Many places did shut down completely and nothing was even open for anyone to go out in public in the first place, and they still had a lot of cases.

Everyone learns differently and at different paces and this can also vary. This means teachers have to figure out each class and teach accordingly, but this isn't quite how they do it. Some do (so much) better in 'this' subject but not quite as well in 'that' subject. I likely would've done better if I was home schooled, but I also wouldn't have wanted either of my parents to be my 'teacher(s).' It may seem like states, business, restaurants... are open again, but not all are. I've yet to hear traveling being back to normal, but some travel is permitted with limits. 80% takers of a corona vaccine is needed before the pandemic can be considered expired. As per just my local and surrounding areas, at the most it's only about 1/8 of the way there. Yo... any diet pop is actually worse than regular.

In the diet coke , this worse that a normal coke (in piece of suggars) . She is most made for the school home . She is most happy when she is at home for the school at home :-)

Also I have been watching you guys since i was like 9 and I was in grade 3 I think Then I’ve watched you till about grade 6 then I guess you guys just didn’t really pop up on my recommended anymore and I kind of forgot about you guys but now I’m watching you guys again

I live in Florida (Red State) completely open cases are ridiculously high depending on where in Florida you live. Masks are mandatory here especially in South Florida. My Brother lives in California (Blue state) and practically everything is closed over there. Seems to be the trend through out the U.S. Red States are open and Blue States are closed. 🤷🏻♀️ I just want it to be over with already. 😕

i think it's kinda crazy how some schools are still completely online! i mean all they have to do is have the kids wear masks and it's fine. i think there's data to prove that there were no outbreaks in schools that required masks. for my college, they offered a lot more in-person classes this semester compared to the fall. there's still a lot of covid rules like masks on campus at all times, splitting classes up into groups, spacing out seats, but it's still better than being completely online. driving to campus is like the highlight of my day now lol!
schools in ontario, canada all required masks and there were hundreds of outbreaks before they switched everything online. masks only work if people 100% follow the rules and unfortunately that is nearly impossible especially when you are dealing with young kids. in all of canada there are almost 2,000 outbreaks at schools so far :(

in England we went back to school in September then after Christmas we went back into complete lockdown and we are doing online school again

Copy the questions and put them into an website called brainly, it makes it so much easier and gives you the exact answer while explaining it.
In Kentucky you have to wear a mask but there a chance we won’t go back this semester but if we do the students get to choose.

My second semester started yesterday and I switched to all online I feel like it’s easier for me
I live in Florida (Red State) completely open cases are ridiculously high depending on where in Florida you live. Masks are mandatory here especially in South Florida. My Brother lives in California (Blue state) and practically everything is closed over there. Seems to be the trend through out the U.S. Red States are open and Blue States are closed. 🤷🏻♀️ I just want it to be over with already. 😕

My sister's kids have been back in school for along time my nephew is going back in school 2 finish 1st grade my sister cant help him anymore at home he wont focus anymore
I can't imagine trying to homeschool elementary students. I give those parents alot of credit.

Wow kids in PA have been back since August. This is nuts!!! And restaurants still closed there? They are even open in NYC. Your governor must be on a mission to destroy small businesses. Also covid isnt going anywhere it will be around for years so its best to take precautions but the show must go on
Man. I wish I could sleep until 10 but I guess when you’re 32 with a 3 year old that’s not an option. But besides all of that I don’t think I’m capable of sleeping past 7am 🧐

I think it’s funny that Karli has never really been that interested in boys and neither has her cousin Emma (from Emma and Ellie and Emma marie) and now they both recently got boyfriends
And they are both secretive about it
i think it's kinda crazy how some schools are still completely online! i mean all they have to do is have the kids wear masks and it's fine. i think there's data to prove that there were no outbreaks in schools that required masks. for my college, they offered a lot more in-person classes this semester compared to the fall. there's still a lot of covid rules like masks on campus at all times, splitting classes up into groups, spacing out seats, but it's still better than being completely online. driving to campus is like the highlight of my day now lol!
schools in ontario, canada all required masks and there were hundreds of outbreaks before they switched everything online. masks only work if people 100% follow the rules and unfortunately that is nearly impossible especially when you are dealing with young kids. in all of canada there are almost 2,000 outbreaks at schools so far :(
@@sarahmacdonald1568 ahh yes so true. :( you would think since we’re a year into this pandemic, masks would be easy by now for the older kids but i guess not. (i like to make masks fun by matching them to my outfits lol) i really feel for all the kiddos who maybe have sensory issues and can’t wear masks. and theres also some situations where schools require masks but then don’t enforce the rules. it’s all just a mess lol i just can’t wait until we can safely reach some type of normality again
