It's really quite simple. Day shift workers commonly work 9A to 5P. By the time they get home it's about evening time. Evening starts at 6P and night would be 9P. Then because morning is technically midnight to noon, it can be split into three. Early morning midnight to 4A, mid morning 4A to 8A and late morning 8A to noon.

Do you not understand quarantine? The boys girlfriends going home is breaking quarantine they need to be there for 100% or 0% of quarantine not back and forth
if the girlfriends families are quarantined 100% of the time for at least 2 weeks, and the girlfriends are quarantined for at least 2 weeks, then they aren’t doing any harm by going home because no one has left either households
good thing the boys girlfriends are quarantined with them.
and if their families are quarantined as well there is no issue

I’m from the UK and I don’t know if lockdown is different there but here you have to stay in your household you can’t leave and come back. I may have this wrong but if Andrews girlfriend is still going out to work then this makes the rule even more imperative.

There r some places that r still open so if u have to work u have to an Andrews girlfriend wether she goes to work or not it doesn't change a thing cause she lives there so its not like she goes from place to place an comes home an brings germs back to them I'm sure she takes a shower right when she gets home an I don't come to think of it think she is working right now there all there together day after day in that house so there all quarantined together doing the same things
