Loooooove those Chicago screws! They are super pretty and last a loooong time! That’s a cool hole punch to I’ll have to look into getting on, I heard another good one is it’s called “the handyman punch” it’s a table one I think.
Great video! Ordered some Biothane for a Diy Dog collar, but the to three different rotary punches I tried didn't do the trick. Will definitely give this one a shot.
I understand, i tried 2 different kinds and could not get a clean cut. this one might look like it to much but it works for me. please let me know if you have better luck
Thanks for this video. I'm getting into making horse tack with biothane and need a stronger hole punch, the biothane bent my cheap leather hole puncher haha.
Hi I have never used them on colors before but I am looking into it now and I’m going to order a few things and use some of the materials that I already own and try it out and then I’ll be able to get back to you with a better answer. It really looks pretty simple from what I’m understanding you can use the punch that I show in this video to make the holes to put the rivets in.
You can use a very small pair of scissors you can find them in the sewing are in craft stores or you can use a lighter but you need to be careful with the flam. I have used it on a very light flame but I like the scissors best.
Neither the Amazon link to the hole punch or the eBay link to the Chicago screws work. Amazon comes up with only one item titled “Neiko 02612A Multi-Purpose Power Hole Punch Kit, 3/32" x 9/32”. Is that the one? Thank you

That punch is waaay over the top. just an ordinary rotary punch will do the job easily. It's lighter, can easily be used one handed and has better leverage too.
I tried a leather punch and it did not work for me, it just dented the bio thane. Many people will use an electric drill but it's not a very clean cut That is why I recommend the heavy duty hole punch. Because Bio thane has a nylon webbing core some will also use a heat punch but I can recommend that because I have never used one. Also so will use an air puncher but again I am not familiar with it. The heavy duty punch has worked for me with little little clean up
Colorado Cords 4 Paws I just got biothane and realized how hard it is to punch with a regular rotary punch! I could not do it, so I’m looking at videos to figure out what kind of punch I need 😅
Thank you so much for adding all your info, it has REALLY helped me order the correct items!
So helpful, I was so confused on how to use a buckle 😭 I have procrastinated using them, but this video was super helpful
I'm so glad!
Very informative, I do paracord collars this will be an addition for adjustable collars

Another question, what are adaptors for. Newbie lol
Hi Kimberly, What I use them for is paracord dog collars. the collar becomes adjustable with an adaptor.
