Sorry I missed the live this month. Life happens. In 2023, I read 215 books!!! To fund my reading habit, I "pay" myself a dollar for every book I read. I put the money in a collection jar - I emptied and counted the jar this morning. I have $215 to start my book-buying funds for 2024
As much as I love watching ya'lls channels & enjoying your lives... EVERYTIME I TRY TO GET INVOLVED.... It makes me just cry because I do not think that all you rich people who can afford puzzles OR BOOKS do not understand how utterly painful it is to want to be involved but cannot AFFORD a book. I cannot afford a puzzle. I cannot afford to buy food, medicine, fix my broken car, toilet paper. HOW CAN I BUY A BOOK? If I work & make 1 dollar the govt takes it out of my old lady soc sec check. I get $13 in food stamps. I worked my whole life. I love u guys... But this sux to not be able to participate
Thank you and your Sweet mama for another awesome live I Throughly enjoy these lives and seeing you both Looking forward to January 27@8:00pm Hope You and your Beautiful Family have a Safe and Happy New Year ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Sorry I missed the live. I am reading a book by Ted Dekker, Three. Excellent book. You’re on the edge of your chair wondering what’s going to happen. Highly recommend
Hi! I missed last month. Hope you had a fantastic Christmas and Happy New Year! LoveJess hair. So easy yo take care of. I haven’t been reading the right book. Im presently reading Sandra Brown. Mystery/thriller. I’ve got to stop reading so much….I’m getting anything done. I need to do audiobooks. Loved lambing this Christmas it’s so good to be back on social media…..I’ve been lazy lazy lazy!!!
I’m so sorry I missed the live. Hello from Alaska. Prayers for everyone battling illness. Vaccinating for Covid and influenza is so important, especially if you have other illnesses ❤
Happy New Year Jessica! I'm enjoying your current hairstyle. I remember your long hair and enjoy watching it grow out. Here's looking to a new year, cancer free. You go Girl!
I won! I did receive it, can’t wait to start reading it. It’s is a beautiful book… thank you so much. I am keeping my goal small this year, as I have a lot of art projects I want to accomplish as well. If I can get 24 books this year, I will feel accomplished.
Good to see ans your wonderful mom together Just spent 6 hrs in the ER with chest pains and came home to your vlog which brighten my mood Thanks keep up the great work
Sad I missed the live for this one I was on the tail end of a stomach bug my kids brought home and opted for an early bed time. Probably my favorite book so far. The twists! I was listening to it while doing Christmas prep and audibly gasped enough times my husband asked what I was listening to.
Happy New Year! I am sooooooo upset with myself for missing this! I’m a sick gal but I’m watching the replay. Jess!!! OMG!!! I’m now reading Crown of Midnight…I am hooked!!! I give Rock, Paper, Scissors about a3-1/2 I wanted to slap the guy and actually had guessed what was going on just before the middle. I also read one of my Mom’s books that I think you both may enjoy…VERY romantic 🤣 I shall pass it on to you😊 Good luck with the lambs, I watched the lambing this morning, I’m sorry about Billy’s baby. My heart fills with happiness listening to their little bleats. All the best to you all there in this ew Year🥰
🐴 sounds like that book was questionable. Christmas was that way too here. My son-in-law lost his grandmother yesterday. Haven't celebrated immediate family Christmas yet. Mom and I haven't been feeling well. I have a migraine. Gonna try to read and or listen to books this year. A great new year resolution. Here's to a new year, 2024.
I'm just getting started on book club in January. I was, hopefully, finishing my colorectal cancer journey during 2023. I'm just wondering when voting ends for the January book so we know what book to order? Love you both and it has helped me through by watching your journey!
Sandi you and I are so much alike and you and Jess remind me of my and my daughter Haley. I listen to audible when I am tending to my rabbits (I have a rabbitry) and I cover seven counties for hospice so while driving I also listen to them.
Hahahaha, in our family Nookie means "Getting some"😅 I read Fourth Wing . LOVED SO MUCH!! My daughter has HEDS which is the same shitty connective tissue disorder as Violet.
Hi Jess and Sandi, I don't have Instagram so I won't be able to vote but I'm hoping to join book club sometime in the new year. Take care and have a wonderful new years eve, stay safe.
You are responsible for me selecting several Rebecca Ross books. I read Divine Rivals and presently reading ( audiobooks) The Queen’s Rising. ❤️ I am not on Instagram, but I will be getting “Powerless” on Libby.
My goal is to start a book journal like yours Jess so I can keep up with what I’ve read bc I read actual books, books on my kindle and audible so I failed to keep up with my yearly total 😢
Poop, I missed it, I totally forgot 😅 . I actually LOVED this books ending! I would give it a 3 it wasn’t a great book but at the same time I couldn’t put it down. I really disliked Amelia , I was so mad at the manipulation but at the same time Robin is pretty messed up for doing what she did.Such a twist . Also side note, Jess’ curly hair is adorable ❤
You two got me reading again. That book was a middle road book. I’m on the DNF train…I am already scanning ahead speed reading and feeling uncomfortable while reading it. Diary writers will like this. Gonna finish it so bye…will I regret it ❤
I'm going to try to be a better reader in the coming year. I'm still trying to get through Love Theoretically!!!! I think it's picking up but sure was slow getting into the story. Y'all inspire me to get reading!
As far as the ending went I wasn't surprised with the affair, that her dad had stalked them through the marriage, and that he hated Amelia for the affair against his daughter. I think his book gave her the idea for her plot. I was surprised he had been the driver than killed his mum, but why did Amelia want that back when she was almost locked up for it?
we had the flu at Christmas kids first and then me and my husband and I'm reading Chevy Stevens Still Missing its so good i love it mystery and thrillers FBI books are my so good there the one i love to read and so is Cozy Mystery too and ones like Nicholas Sparks he's been by fav for a long time i have all his book and J.T. Ellison and for cozy mystery LONDON LOVETT she a little anther i find and love her hope you had a good Christmas from BC
I love to read but I have trouble reading as fast as I'd need to in order to keep up with book clubs. I tune in hoping to find some good book recommendations. I'd love if you guys would give some insight into the books you talk about. Like a general description of what is the book about, who it might be written for. I think opinions on characters are ok but without any premise at all, it's really hard to even be interested in the reviews here. Still love you guys and I know you're new at this. Carry on!
I'm lucky if I get 10 books read in a year. But I don't like audio books, and I only read when I go to bed. And only one at a time - I get too confused. 300 blows my mind. Even 30 in five months astounds me. // This is the first year in forever that I haven't had to work on NYD. I'll still be in bed at midnight, but the noisy local fireworks (which I might add are illegal here in Australia), won't annoy me so much when they wake me up. :) Jan 27th is the day after Australia Day. Long weekend for many Aussies then.
I’m excited about Jessica’s hair growing back…. I might try listening to a book but reading one is hard for me. I have MS and the comprehension part of my brain just doesn’t work anymore! Same with numbers… I used to be able to write programs for the company I worked for and one day I couldn’t understand what to do anymore. I had spinal surgery and took my pension and left work behind. Years later I found out I had MS and now I’m in a wheelchair but the part of my brain that deals with understanding numbers and reading and understanding what I read is just horrible!
I disliked this book so much. I never give up on a book. It feels like a failure. But this book was so disturbing to me that it was a relief when i finally said That’s it! Done! I’m reading Deborah Brown. In Over Your Head. Love you guys. ❤
We are over Christmas. Rain and storms. So much damage. So many people were away from home on Christmas Day when the really bad storm typhoon his. Very scary.
Sorry I missed the live this month. Life happens. In 2023, I read 215 books!!! To fund my reading habit, I "pay" myself a dollar for every book I read. I put the money in a collection jar - I emptied and counted the jar this morning. I have $215 to start my book-buying funds for 2024
That’s is fantastic idea xxx ❤❤❤❤❤❤
What a good idea
You two look so much less stressed since Jess got her good cancer report!! Two lovely and strong women!!!!❤

I agree. The book was so slow. I was sad to set it aside, but now I think I’m happy I did.
lookin good Jessica!
The flowers on the Powerless cover in Australia are also purple.
You two got me reading again. That book was a middle road book. I’m on the DNF train…I am already scanning ahead speed reading and feeling uncomfortable while reading it. Diary writers will like this. Gonna finish it so bye…will I regret it ❤
Just finished listening to The Founders by Stacy M Jones. Good read.

My reading challenge is 62 this year. Audible is amazing, that’s the only way I read.

Saturday night because it’s Sunday morning in Australia.
Jessica your hair is beautiful! You have my dream haircut, but my hair is very thin.
I’m late checking in from Indiana.
Book. - Knitting by Anne Bartlett. I didn’t know where to post this.
I'm lucky if I get 10 books read in a year. But I don't like audio books, and I only read when I go to bed. And only one at a time - I get too confused. 300 blows my mind.
