Nice job you could probably get more speed and performance with a bigger pinion and a lighter battery. I’m using the same ESC with 4600 KV motor I can get some double backflips and the motor temp with the fan is 88 degrees.
@@RevelationRCwhat pinion are you running??? I have 0 idea why my Grom won't wheelie. I even have a 3900kv motor with the 19t pinion and still can't wheelie at all on 2s 3s can wheelie but nothing crazy
@@RevelationRCah okay, I thought most 24** motors come with a 2.3. I actually wanted a 2838 motor but those are commonly 3.175mm. Couldn't find a pinion for that.
Well I did see someone hand drill out the pinion hole and it looked like it worked. But I can't find it anymore Edit: ua-cam.com/video/dyj6KCPR3hY/v-deo.htmlsi=C-tQDRw_pslh_l-y
Great video it really helps out someone new like me
@frankrubalcava7838 thanks for watching 👍
Thats Eldredge park!!!! I took my grom there yesterday, soo much fun
That's right! I go there every now and then. I live in Wellsboro
Good job
Thank you 👍
Holy cow Dave that’s a bit pricey 250 bucks but in the end it’s probably worth it
It's gonna be in over $300 before it's done. Crazy for a 1/18 scale lol thanks for watching brother 👍

I could step it up with 3s. I'm looking to order a 3s battery. I don't have one that will fit.
awesome rc and upgrades
Thanks brother 👍

@andresvillagomez75 I'm running the 16t pinion. Only ran it on 2s so far. Just got a 3s so I can't wait to rip it.
@@RevelationRC you can pop wheelies on 2s??? I can't pop wheelies on 2s but on 3s it will wheelie
@@andresvillagomez75 mine doesn't like to do wheelies either.
Nice video! Would my traxxas 1/16 brushless motor and esc work in this?
@t3floz I'm not sure. It should if the bolt patterns are the same.
you didn't have to get a hobby Wing you can go brushless with cheaper motor in ESC
@mattwebb5636 your right. I should've gone cheaper .
Aloha. Can you tell me the size of tires and wheels you like to run on Granite that you swap from other truck? Thanks
Hello! I am using the tires off the redcat volcano 16 tires. They fit perfectly but are a little bigger. They also lift the truck a bit.
@@RevelationRC Thanks 🤙🏻
@@erikjbateman no problem, thanks for watching 👍
how long do the battery work ? cheers!
They last about 20 minutes. Not bad for a little truck. Thanks for watching 👍 cheers!
Quel support de servo a tu mis ? Merci
I put the one from arrma. Part # ARA320753
@@RevelationRC Thanks 🥰

Why a new pinion? Just a matter of a pinion! 😂
The shaft on the stock motor I believe is 2.3mm and the shaft on the hobbywing is 2mm. It's a must

@woutervanwijk4369 I wish I could have used the heat sink but it's to big. I will probably get a bigger motor in the future.

It's easier just to order a new one
