VINTAGE SUN Super Tach II 8000/RPM

I connected the trigger wire to a Crane Cams HI-6 ignition box. I was told that would fry tach. I had it temporarily installed in the engine bay, so I did not see if it moved at all. How can I test the tach to see if it's still good?

Can you run a sun cp7901 tachometer on a 2002 Sportster

I don't think it's designed for a two cylinder engine
