Hello i love the crusades but id like to read a book about the holy roman Empire too after i read this masterpiece,any suggestions history brother?

Thanks for your review! I'd like to know more about the Byzantines, and how they managed to last as long as they did. Thery also overlap with the Crusades, because Constantinople was sacked in the Fourth Crusade.

This book does have a big focus on the Byzantines so if you are interested in that this book would be a good one for you. If you are are interested in a book jut about the Byzantines I would recommend Lost To The West by Lars Brownworth
