Hi Mel! Please do a part 2 in the future! I know we’re all guilty of buying stuff we don’t need because it was too pretty to pass up or it was on sale. I was taking a look at some of what I owned and felt that recently. At least we can take comfort that we’re not alone! Love your videos ❤

Brooches are great on blazers that need a little life if you’re wearing them casually or biz casual
If you don’t like some of them, you can sell them and turn them to pieces you like and wear. That would be joyful 💗🥰
I have two speedy 25 b bags and i use mine all the time 😅 Maybe you’ll use it more in the future, i think its smart to save it rather than sell it. I have bags in my collection that i hadnt used for years and then suddenly i started using them nonstop. Sometimes it just takes a while haha

I found this video so interesting! I definitely don’t have much in my luxury collection, but my first big girl paycheck bag I bought was my Speedy B25 damier ebene. I love her so much and has so much sentimental value. But fashion and accessories are subjective so I totally understand. Thanks for the video Mel!
The denim bag you should just start using more and it will start to wear in other areas... Think of it like Raw denim that fades over time in certain areas and becomes a piece unique to you and your lifestyle.

I like to buy cheap items from Primark etc. I can then get to know what I use and what I don’t, as opposed to what I think I like and will use.
I can experiment with colours and styles and give my mistakes away to charity shops for free. This way, when I do step up the quality, I have a better idea of what I will really use, and so make fewer mistakes.
What the point, buy expensive things and not use, you must be a very rich woman 😂

Mel, 1st just SELL the bags, shoes you won’t wear & make money for something else you want! Don’t keep for no reason! 2nd here in Los Angeles we have a specialty Shoe Bag repair guy. He is always busy & works out of a tiny shop. He specializes in the repair of LV, Hermes & LV. He took spots out for me when I was re selling bags. He painted a white Chanel & the lady loved it. You need to find a repair specialist near you & they can remove that white spot! It can be done! Please out w the old in w the new! Xo from LaLaLand nanc 🍒🍒

✨ I am a Denim Lover. Your Chanel bag is gorgeous.
✨ If I were you, I would take my Chanel bag to Chanel Repair but that can be quite expensive. Some years back, I had a repair done @ LV on an LV bag that I purchased Pre-Loved.
✨ The other option is to take it to a Leather Repair Specialist. I’m sure they can fix that issue.

Hi Mel! Luckily I'm guilty of only one wrong purchase, a pair of black YSL jeans, which still have the price tag attached. I swear I curse myself more or less daily for this mistake, I've never worn them and you know how much a pair of YSL jeans costs! What nerves! I've been trying to be more careful since then.
You were lucky with the Fendi bag, I only got rejected from Dolce & Gabbana because the bag wasn't bought from them, shameful customer service.
Oh how funny! I just got my first Hermas cliq bracelet and I wear it all the time! I just love wearing cuff bracelets. Everything else I agree with though!
In the past items with sequins or special buttons came along with emergency bags. They would hold a few sequins, rhinestones or a button for repair.
Keep your H bracelets and Speedy for Miss S! She will be of an age soon to want to use those items. I too have a lot of pouches that I haven’t used yet, but will (Chanel O cases, Kirigami). I too bought the nano vanity case, why don’t you display it in your bathroom? Put lipsticks in it or a potted plant. It’s too cute to let go. I use my Chanel brooches on my outerwear. They are heavy enough fabric to handle the pin. Even us that aren’t luxury collectors have things we should use more!

Take your Dior to a tailor and have them add on extra fabric to the sleeves. Or replace the whole sleeves.
Take some blue eyeshadow and blend the white mark on the trendy. Or markers if you're adventurous.
Guilty too bought the speedy 30 used it once, bought the Chanel pin never used it and the Christian Louvitton red bottoms to painful gave them away to my daughter 😮
So little funny story, I was looking at a denim trendy for a very long time, I had my eye on one but for some reason never went for the plunge. One day I finally decided to get it and it had been sold! Literally within the week you posted about your purchase on the same bag! I was like, I was just about to get the same thing! Still love it. Hope you can fix yours! I'd be so sad too 😭

Apropos the Dior jacket...the fault lies with Dior. I mean what a ridiculous idea to make a jacket like this in half sleeve. Too hot for the material too cold for the half sleeve.

May be can you try to wipe off the white mark on your denim Chanel with a damp cloth and see if it comes off? Try a few times. I guess water does not hurt.

For the denim Chanel … I would repair it with a color pencil … gently so you can fade the white mark 🤗 I did it on Chanel bag in canvas and worked very well 🎉

Its so sad about the Chanel bag. Ordinarily when i see such spots or stains on designer bags on othet people, i automatically assume they're fake and hence these things happen. Im mean, sequins just popping off on a 3000$ bag?? No thank you.
I have a Speedy B 25 in mono that I have NEVER used. And like you, I feel like I can’t get rid of it. It’s too classic.
I will just use the Chanel denim bag. It's cool and it's part and parcel of using something. It gets dirty or breaks. At least you'll get value from using it

I love your speedy 25 monogram bandolier. I always wanted to have one. The denim Chanel as well, though the white line in the middle will make the bag sell at a lower price. But it’s still pretty and looks expensive. Thanks for sharing Mel
I have a ton of brooches (not brand name, but some are vintage/gifted/inherited) but never wear them because of the reasons you mentioned. I'll get them out for special events to coordinate with my clothes - pinned to my coat or jacket, or even my bag if it's a material that the holes won't show :)
You should keep the "Thanos" Gucci shoes and just get someone to cut to 'beard' off. They will look amazing!
Maybe the thanos shoes can go but some of those items (the two LV) items you can give to your daughter! Or maybe you can use the nice nano for jewelry? The nano is so precious!

I never used brooches until I started using them to fasten my silk scarves and skinny silk ties on my bags. Can look great in the middle of a bow, and some how I feel like it leans more casual than puttting them on a lapel.
oh dear! trust the hubby to comment on the shoes. I do think the cat brooch looks good on the lapel of your jumper, but like you I am not a brooch person....I do have a few....but what I did do is to pin it onto a twirly scarf and make it as an decor on a bag .

Anything you don’t use gifts to friends n family, that way they don’t get wasted and you don’t feel the guilt of not using it. Taste changes over time. Waste is when not using the goods.
