It takes time and practice try the double comb method i didn't like them in school either we had to use gel instead of foam and I got so frustrated in school we had to do it a certain way but I tried the double comb method and preferred it better but for finals I couldn't do it that way but the way they taught me which was even more uncomfortable and difficult because for me I'm left handed so everything I learned was done backwards 😭😭😭

Yeah it's never advised to do both in the same setting of course. Stages at best. I went to school too. People do it although they say there's a safer way ...using highlift instead of bleach but I wouldn't do either. Sis is bold. Kudos to her. lol

I was thinking the same thing but I didn’t want to come off rude. But I was taught that you should never use a permanent color the same day as a relaxer. You should only use a semi or Demi color the same day as a relaxer.

That worked out for you but I’d personally never put a dye on top of a relaxer cause you don’t take care of your hair with this, you will still be bald later on down the line
My sister did this 30 years ago and she was never bald.

You did good, love the colour! Tip for finger waves: You might want to use two combs, place them few inches apart (depending on how wide you want the waves to be)- push one comb forward while you push the second comb backwards simultaneously. Repeat the process until you cover the whole head. This creates better waves than swooping with one comb. I hope it makes sense though- I suck at explaining things (giving directions)

Wow. You are BRAVE! You're not supposed to perm & do permanent color in the same day. Its a recipe for disaster. Your hair wouldn't necessarily fall out now but may over a very short period time. The color is beautiful but I wish you luck.

Very intreasting seeing this and good job on the hair, looks nice 🙂 I dyed my hair like over 2 weeks ago and it says to wait 6 weeks before relaxing but I Really need to relax it. Could I? would it be too soon?? Some of my hair did come out (got shorter) maybe from the dye/previous relaxer or both.. & when combing through it little pieces always come out like it's very brittle... But I do really need to straighten it. Please help!!
