- Solo VS Trios. Here are some fun/intense solo matches with different loadouts. I truly enjoy Hunt the most when I'm playing a variety of different loadouts to keep things fresh and challenge myself. I like a good mix of meme's and meta.

Easy fix for the gun picking instead of fire quenching: 2 separate keybinds for interacting with objects and putting out fire / bleed
the second half of game 2 was so intense holy shit you were at 50 health for half that whole fight and you still kept running in, ur crazy man ggs

Yes I rebound mine to capslock to stop bleed burn for that reason

You can change your button to stop burning to something other than interact. So instead of picking up a weapon you can always put yourself out, I have mine set as c so I cam hit it with my thumb.
The weapon swap burning thing @4:10 wouldn't even be a problem if the prompt on screen wasnt a lie. It says "Hold F to stop burning" but instead its a fast weapon pickup instead of the burn animation. If the prompt at least told the truth you could know when you have to move...

I remember once saying they needed to fix picking up weapons while bleeding/on fire in Hunt's Discord and they told me to rekeybind it like it's my fault they picked a stupid priority

@4:20 had that cost me a big clutch. Died after killing the last team to bleeding because my hunter kept swapping guns and i couldn't swap to medkit in time. After that interact was set to Q and stop bleed/burn is the only thing on F now. 😂
You can separate pickup and stop burn/bleed in the keybinds

I changed my "stop burn/bleed to a different key bind for that exact reason. I was next to a ladder and decided to climb instead of stop bleed....
From then on, I made sure "interact" and "stop burn/bleed" were not the same key bind😅
You can change your keybinds to separate bandage/stop burning from interacting.

I bound stop bleed/fire to G and just mapped it to my thumb mouse button, if you're fast enough you can avoid bleeding out on the first tick from some weapons.

I changed my keybind to have stop burn/bleed to one key and interact with another so I never have that problem. I changed it a few years ago when I had this exact problem. x_x

4:12 Gotta rebind that loot button to be split from the stop-bleed/burn button. Or at least that's the sure way to make sure you stop bleed/burn when you really need without having loot interfere.
Sure but it would make sense from a development perspective to default to the stop burn for those that didnt have the foresight or dont want to rebind.
@@lakefviltuk1681 There are some people who dislike the current priority order of the button and complain about it. If the priority order were to change, there will be a different set of people complaining about the new priority order. There is truly no winning for the devs here, since there will be people who complain about it no matter which way it is--such is life when a single button has multiple functions. While the order might not make sense to you or me, it makes sense to someone who likes it that way. Some of which might be devs themselves, since devs are the ones who made it that way.
However, the devs already added a solution to any problems the priority order of the one button has: the ability to rebind the two functions of that one key to separate keys.
@@C2Talon Yea I understand the existence of remapping keys... we just disagree on the proportion of people who like which one. Pretty sure stop bleed gang first is a vast majority.

I just said there would some set of people complaining no matter which of the two functions had priority. And rather than wait for devs to make a change that may never come, there already exists a solution that enables you to take the power in your own hands.

You can split the stop bleeding/burning keys and the "pick up" keys.
I recommend it cuz sometimes you wanna res even tho ur bleeding
for 4:18, just change the key of stopping a bleed/burning to something else, i have it on G

4:25 You might think that being able to pick up a weapon would be good in a pinch. However, I've lost so many health bars just because weapons or loot got in the way when I needed to remove it asap.

In my opinion on a situation like that i feel like they could make it so if you want the weapon instead of turning off bleed or fire, all you do is look at weapond and you can pick up if not you will mend the overtime dmg
I died from bleed because instead of stopping the bleed, i switiched weapons with the hunter i just killed. RIP

Does this game still allow duo teams in regular matches? I really wish we had a true, pure free for all mode where nobody is teaming up. Than I’d consider playing again.
yeah there's a duos lobby and a trios lobby
I separated mending & interacting bc of a game that I clutched but then bled out because the game rather made me pick up a gun than make me mend.
