26:00 I just noticed that you can hear the bullets landing in the hay. Idk I just never noticed this detail in Hunt before.
How cracked of a player do you have to be to only bring a single pistol into the game with most of them without fanning or another pax for the increased ammo pool and still rain down hell and chaos. Its like all that handicap doesn’t even matter.

another idea I just got:
From 1880 to 1898, the Japanese service rifle was the Murata Rifle. It was a single-shot bolt action rifle with 11mm cartridges. So in hunt, this would be medium ammo. (Vetterli had 10.4mm irl)
If you look at the murata rifle, it is relatively compact. So this would be a medium ammo (single shot?) rifle, but with more potential (ideally) then the springfield. Instead of the type 18 Murata (single shot) they could also do the type 22 murata carbine (1889) with five rounds. (although this one had 8mm caliber, so small ammo in hunt probably. But maybe they could just go with that minor historic inaccuracy)
Like a nice handling & stats rifle, but medium ammo, to have a more viable repeating rifle/carbine weapon that could compete better with long ammo then the vetterli. Because the only somewhat meta medium ammo weapon rn is bullet spam (the buffed cyclone).
Considering they put the katana, why not a Japanese rifle
@@nonameeeeEeno Yeah so the Vetterli's cartridge is much shorter, it's not about diameter really. the 11mm round that the first iteration of the Murata fired was 11x60, which is a quite comfortably a full rifle round. The 8mm was also 8x51R, same length as a modern 7.62 Nato cartridge.

Hunt is like 5 years old and we only just got a new version for it.
They didn't even make a 2 slot version with a shoulder stock.
But it's ok! Because you think we got a slightly longer version after 5 years is all the love it needs.

What are the reasons to bring the normal pax over the trueshot? I'm having a hard time finding much of a noticeable difference except that the trueshot has better fanning, damage, and velocity
I could be mistaken, but I think the regular pax has slightly higher fire rate than the trueshot, which makes it more consistent in skirmishes and shootouts. That being said, the trueshot is probably still the preferred choice in most scenarios, especially if you have fanning

Maybe you mean the animation cancel. As soon as your character is letting the axe out, you can switch to another item slot to cancel the rest of the animation.

Depends on your muscle memory and what you like honestly. Both are good
True shot has higher range, and I think longer damage carryover but that’s it. They’re both your average medium ammo pistol.

@@BRADLIKESPVP Why play the pax at all when you can play Dolch? For both, it’s just for fun. The Trueshot is only meta for fanning, as the most accurate fanning pistol. Otherwise, might as well use any Dolch or Uppercut

Seems like the greatest handgun ever made until you have to reload a gun with a gate and ejector rod once. It’s a lot more labor than the game makes it look.
I remember when Hunt was fun and quick swapping was a thing before crytek took it down because it was too hard for them and too many scrubs were complaining, I used to run double pax and just quickswap as I was shooting. Truly a shame what this game has become.
