I like how both the latest comics and this show his respect for her. In X-Men: Red and the recent Ressurection of Magneto their development is pretty great.
Fun fact: in the comics Dr. Doom was also entranced by Storm upon meeting her. Unfortunately he trapped her in some sci-fi material, essentially turning her into a statue to forever preserve her beauty...which backfired horribly due to her claustrophobia. Turns out her powers still worked while trapped in there.
This was meant to be a continuation from graduation day( Unneeded in my opinion). So charles isn't really dead, The world thinks he's dead, but In actuality , he's chilling with his Shi ar girlfriend... Unless this is a retcon and he did die
It's not that Magneto has changed, but rather, he's swallowing his pride in order to uphold what he believes to be the spirit of Xavier's Will. Magneto still doesn't believe Charles is right, that humanity can accept mutants, but he's allowing himself to be proven wrong out of respect. He believes Charles has earned that much.

He not only gave the term a laughable definition, but he also included many mutants on that list. Prior to Hickman's tinkering, being omega-level meant that a mutant was truly powerful not only for their destructive capacity on a planetary or galactic scale, but also for their ability to conquer death and/or create/rewrite realities. It was a pretty short list of truly godlike mutants which included Jean Grey, Iceman, Vulcan, Franklin Richards and Quentin Quire. Storm didn't make the cut. Neither did Magneto. Using Jonathan Hickman's definition of omega-level would mean that Wolverine could also be omega level if his healing factor did not have any upper limit. If Morph's shapeshifting abilities had no upper limits, he'd also be omega level. So you see, there's nothing impressive about Storm finally being called omega.
