You should have been a teacher. You make great tutorials. You explain everything and make it so easy to understand. I always enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you! 😃
Making flying geese 4 at a time always amazes me that it works out so well. Definitely someone much smarter than I am figured that one out!😂 Thanks for sharing and always being inspiring!!❤️
This was fun to watch while I ate breakfast this morning. Now to go exercise! Thanks Liz!
Liz…such a perfect start for February…love the quilt pattern and fabric…I will tell you that your teaching skills really help me as a beginning quilter…and I hope you are doing well…you look terrific…wishing you the best and happy stitching ❤❤
Thanks so much Loretta!!
You are a phenomenal instructor
Love to watch you quilt and cross stitch. You’re always so positive and happy. You bring happiness into mundane life. ❤
❤️❤️ thank you!
Ok! Just ordered the pdf for this quilt. I’m in. I’ll be a little behind but that is not unusual😅. Thank’s for taking us along on your next quilt making adventure. Love the pattern. I agree with one of the previous commenters- you are a natural born teacher. If you will have your top completed by the end of February, I’m guessing mine will be done in December sometime. 🥴 Thanks for the inspiration!!
Thank you Tracy!!
Great tutorial thank you for sharing and love the the fabric!
Have a wonderful week and happy quilting 😊🧵🪡🤗🤩
Thank you! You too!
Liz, another amazing tutorial, i actually am going to use your suggestion for flying geese for my stars….you are a incredible teacher….(I am a visual learner)i have learned so much from you in cross stitch, tutorials on project bags and now an easier, faster way for my quilting. I actually have been using starch from watching Kimberly on FQS and i find for me that it does help with cutting the fabric faster. Thank you, it is greatly appreciated…..
I actually wouldn't mind trying the starch method but I don't really have the space for drying fabric! So I haven't tried it out, I find if it just do my water and press method it helps me enough!
Thanks for your great tips and tricks….can’t wait to see your progress…
Thanks for s great lunch break😎
My pleasure!!
I am being tempted to sew along. This is a beautiful quilt. I might make it a bit smaller for our new grand who is expected in a few months.
aww yeah it would make a great baby quilt! And less blocks to make!
I always learn stuff from you! Thank you.
Love it! Thanks for sharing. Youmake it look very easy.
Great tutorial.
If I could sew a straight line I would make a quilt, sadly I can not! Girl! Love all of yours though❤
Great tutorial thanks for sharing
I just finished a quilt with that fabric line you are using, I made a it from one of laundry baskets free pattern called “Oh Dear”
Also need to comment on your sewing machine - I absolutely love my Juki DX2000 ❤
I may have to do this pattern in a different fabric line since I used my bundle already Lol 😂
Love watching you 🥰
Thank you!! Love my Juki! I have the DX7!
Just bought my pattern. Will try to keep to schedule!
Yay thanks for joining me! And please feel no pressure from my schedule! Do it however you want!
Another great tutorial, Liz! That pattern will be so pretty basically, in reds and whites for February.
You make it look so easy! lol... Can't wait to get started on this one! Thank you, Liz! You're the best!
What a beautiful quilt! Love it. You’re a good teacher. Fun to see it progress. Also to see Liz’s quilt. Thanks! ❤️❤️⭐️⭐️⛄️
Thank you for hosting this quilt-along. I have my fabric pressed and ready to start cutting today. Excited to make this quilt. Not on instagram, so will not be sharing.
I love, love, love the Little Sweetheart fabric line from Laundry Basket Quilts! I wish I could be quilting along with you, but I will definitely be following your progress. You make it look easy enough by breaking it down into manageable sections.
😍😍😍
Thanks for showing your method for choosing fabric. I can easily get stuck in that part of the process.
Just love your tutorials. You are such a good teacher. Love watching your videos.
Great instructions, Liz! This is going to be such a pretty quilt. Happy quilting……………………..
I love to watch you sew and quilt. The things you make are so pretty! ❤
I'm hoping to cut my fabric tonight, but I will get some more time in this weekend. The fabric you've chosen is so beautiful. Laundry Basket has gorgeous fabrics. Excited to be a part of the QAL.
Thanks for joining me!! Happy sewing!
I'm still waiting for my fabric to come in, but I'm looking forward to joining the quilt-a-long! Thanks for sharing this tutorial!
Hi Liz, love your new do! I can’t wait to see your quilt in the end. I’m working on Lori Holt’s Farmhouse Stars quilt right now. Btw my little 9 yr old black kitty developed a urine problem a couple Yrs ago and now has diabetes. Have you ever had a cat that developed diabetes? I love seeing your kittens on Instagram. They are so loving.
Oh no poor kitty! I’ve never had one with diabetes, our Diego is dealing with kidney problems right now
Love the fabrics you are using. I have decided to use fabrics from my stash. I posted my fabrics on Instagram.
Love it 🧵🪡 thanks so much for sharing 💗
Thanks for sharing. You made it look easy.
Have fabrics cut, did a little sewing tonight. Did you post that schedule somewhere? Think it’s going to be fun!!!
I have it posted on Instagram or you can screenshot it from the end of the video!
That fabric is so pretty! I need yardage of the large dot.
Yes! Love those polka dots!
The flying geese method does work pressing to the side instead of open.
Good to know thanks!!
I have a question about cutting the fabric for the flying geese versus the half square triangles. The 10x10 is not going to be large enough to cut everything, correct?
It will be enough! Instead of 12 squares at the recommended 2.5 inches you would just cut 12 squares at a slightly smaller size according to the 4 at a time flying geese size, and instead of the matching 12 2.5 inch squares from background you would need 3 larger squares to match the size flying geese you are making!
I'm not following you or either I am looking at the chart wrong versus the pattern. How can I talk with you without giving cutting directions?
