Wow this is cinematic I love it
After making a video on amphipods myself a while back these are one of my favourite crustaceans. Of course not beaten by the mantis shrimp of course
I want to use this tank as my example for when I have to go to college soon and maybe take down both my 60g and 90g.
I heard the rumor that sexy shrimp and yellow coralgoby might pick some SPS'polyp off, such as Acropora. so keep an eye on them for them not to pick polyp off.
Yeah :(, will give a chance, my last yellow goby was fine, never know

You could possibly breed two gobys if you wanted to although they will nest on SPS corals which will kill some tissue of the colonies. Love your tank always lookin forward to Sunday because of you!💫

Nice video! Just an FYI - clown gobies are known to nip, nest on, and generally harass SPS coral polyps.
Yeah, this is what I fear the most in the tank, will see how it goes but yeah, I have a bad feeling.

If they get out of control you can get something like a blue mandarin goby which ans beautiful and will hunt them
Perhaps, but the aquarium is really small, it wouldn't be ethical from me to do this, well see what happen, but I think it will be fine at the end...
@@AquaSplendor hey man, I added a ruby mandarin into my 30 gal long a week and a half ago, and since I’ve trained it to eat mysis, there is no chance he will starve. If you want to get a mandarin, make sure it eats mysis or get one of the small captive bred ones- they are trained to eat mysis from birth
actually,those kind of fish prefers copepods than amphipods,since amphipods are a little big for their mouth size

friend, my goby clown was eating the polyps of my bird of paradise and my pocilophora green. I removed the two colonies and put them in another aquarium.
Yeah I might do something about that I have a bad feeling 🤨

Do u have any updates on these Amphipods till now? Are they good at grazing algae? I have read many article about the risk of them eating Zoanthids. I am planning to get some for my tanks but not sure if it is a good idea ^^.

would these be too big for a mandarin dragonet to eat?
I never had a Mandarin so hard to tell, perhaps its possible when the mandarin is large with a big mouth.
