Thank you. I tried several yamadori sweet gum and finally gave up. Now I'm growing several in nursery pots. You gave me some great ideas.

Loved all the maples. Thank you for the nice images. Here in Japan all bonsai events have been canceled since the end of February and in Tokyo we are still in the state of emergency. Hope at least to be able to see the satsuki azalea bonsai in bloom. Keep safe and have a nice day, Claudia

Hi Claudia, yeah, I’ve been watching a lot of videos of what’s going on around the world and especially Japan. Even the cherry blossoms were not able to be visited. Hopefully next year when
everything cleared up I am able to visit Japan and check out all the bonsai places. I already told my kids about it. Cheers!

Good trees.... I’m working on a few. I have three I dug out of the ground that will take awhile but hopefully they will turn into something. Your trees are nice. God bless.

Thank you so much! This liquid Ambar will surprise you. It respond very well with shaping. All these trees started as stumps. Some have a couple of branches here and there and just keep growing new branches. It developed fast. You’ll love them.

Good day, amazing trees. How do you get the trunks so nice and big? Is it grown from cuttings or can you please give me some info how to get the trunks so beautiful. Thank you I subscribed.

Hi Shaun, I got most of my trees big already. Like this tree, it was a garden tree that I found in a nursery and chopped the trunk off and grow some of the branches. I showed how I do it in some of my repotting videos. Years ago, I got addicted in hunting and collecting trees from secluded nurseries and bought them really cheap. They are located in the back corner of the nursery.

Jorge Gutierrez hi Jorge, yes, I have them under the shade cloth, but in the heatwave they burn too, but I just prune the burn leaves and they regrow.

Do they stay red or go green to red

    • @lakeelsinorebonsai1203

In a normal circumstances, they turn green to red. But maybe because we have a hotter summer, they turn yellow, and hardly turn red. Hopefully this time it will be different.

Is it easy to air layer this tree

I haven’t tried it with this tree, but I think you can. I find this tree very easy to grow so, most likely it is.
