Because of the cut scene every time you have to restart the first level, and that I was 5 when I played it, the Fantastic 4 building is ingrained in my head for the remainder of eternity

I played this game dozens of times, it's my favorite Spider-Man game but I've never encountered this many bugs and glitches in my gameplay as Kevin did. It's a special gift to break a game that isn't broken lol
It think it's just the pc version as well. The PS1 version was absolutely fine and rhino was a bit smarter, too.

@@7Anakin7 no you’re remembering the n64 version. The pc has all the animated cut scenes and has that scorpion glitch. This was my first video game as a kid and I was stuck on that for almost a year. I would just replay that first level. when I managed to get by the glitch and discover how much game was left, it was incredible

For those of you that are curious, Daredevil uses the extendable cable in his billy club to swing around the city in a way similar to Spider-man. Black Cat has a grappling hook that she uses to traverse in the same way. This has been confirmed by the comics.

@Kefik Leradine the versión of N64 doesn't have cutscenes if I do remember or they are kinda reduced. The full cutscenes can only be get in the PS1 and PC versión of the game.
@@wompagompa well I can't say that 100% sure. I remember that the first time I played this game was the "PC versión" and I didn't use any emulator but at least we can agree that it's a lot better than the N64 versión.

Christopher Bucher, It was one of my first games. Such nostalgia but I remember my game being less buggy well except for when I fell through a computer screen and ended up outside the map.
Paladin Boyd yeah I think its because he's playing the game on a newer computer and it screws up the speed it plays at.. makes it go too fast and that's why he keeps falling... I.e. when he fails to swing in the window or doesn't automatically swing off of the falling box. If you watch gameplay done on a ps1 or something it's slower and those bugs don't exist
Christopher Bucher, Makes sense I thought it was do to emulation being more art than functionality. There is one bug that was on the ps1, the window breaking before the web ball hit it, I remember that one always happened.

Just a thought, the game has bugs only on modern PCs. It is one of those old games that were not programmed with faster processors in mind, so when it runs with higher fps, it goes crazy. Try forcing vertical synchronization in your video card driver settings, it should work in theory, but if not, the Dreamcast version is near identical. PS1 version too, it just has worse textures.
Btw, the game has a 'What if?' cheat code, which changes some parts of the game, like adding more cameos from other Marvel properties, or playing more humorous cutscenes and dialog, check it out after playing the main story.
Oh, there is also a sequel, it's a PS1 exclusive. Fun game as well, but not as much as this one.
