Just received my shirt stickers fly box and jigs. Thanks jesse you really represent Maine’s best and your stuff works great. I cant wait to go on a guided trip of yours
I was so pumped to try out your jigs last weekend. Never got hooked up, but your jig wasn’t alone. Tried everything in the tackle box and only ended up with one tiny one. Picky buggers some times. Next time!
Lakers are good eating, I hope you keep a few now and then. The white part of their gills, is like a razor blade, I’ve been cut badly by a large laker.
Glad to see you're back fishing and posting. Looking forward to some great Native Brookie videos in a month or so. Did you sell your truck? And if so, what are you driving these days?
Off topic but I’m new to fly fishing and looking to get a new set up. I’m back and forth between 5wt either in 9 foot or 8 1/2 what do you recommend? It’s my first setup and looking for something forgiving but well rounded. I live in NH and fish similar waters as you just with spin tackle but it’s time to make the switch.
I would say the 9'. longer rods are actually easier to cast and more forgiving. I like a shorter one if im going into small streams but those are also 2-3 wts. I think the 5 wt is a great choice to start.

I can tell you, Jesse’s jigs work awesome! So far chartreuse seems to be my go to color!

Happens lakers can be as stubborn as they come. To bad you didn’t get any Hopefully they will be more cooperative next time

What App are you using to find the structure.

How many of the fish do you keep and eat? I was looking at the Maine department of health and they made it seem like you don't want to eat too much.

@@MainelyOutDoors thanks so much man love the channel!
You ever target cusk? Makes for a good fish fry.
Sometimes those little lakers put up the best fight. I have caught bigger ones that just come up like a rock but no fight👍🏻
so true! you'd think you had a log
Great use of the underwater channel. How much would one of those boxes with the jigs you showed cost all together?
Honestly I was just thinking last night when is Jesse gonna upload a video 👍🏼👊🏼🦖🍺
Were you on Graham Lake?
Is this near the nb border?
What app was that that had the depth chart?
That app is called Navionics it’s great!
Thanks.
