I made plexiglass window blanks that fit when the windows are down and then I cut openings and screened them over.
So it's window down, insert window screen frame, raise window to lock in place and seal it. You can do the same if you slider windows in the truck cap or make an inner screen for the rear window on the cap.
I also have a big fan to circulate air in the truck while I'm sleeping in there with the dog. With the both of us in a rather small area condensation can be an issue.

Another great video, if fuel prices ever get back to normal I might have to make a trip up that way. Another cheap easy backpack meal is Knor rice and sauce, many flavors only need to boil water and add type of meat and or veggies you want.

Remember the scene from Indiana jones where the Nazi dude opens the Ark and his face melts off. I suspect thats about how much Deet you would have to apply to keep those black flies off

Oopps. Somehow missed this one. So, I viewed it out of order. All of your vids are awesome! Great luck finding that backpacking dinner ware. Also , great fishing and love the versatility of your truck build. You virtually can live out there for as long as you want. Oh, I have Simms wading boots similar to your new L.L.Beans that also came unstudded and I saw a UA-cam vid where the fisherman used Kold Kutter screws for his studs. Now, all my wading boots have them. They work great and are strong. A way cheaper way to go with out spending a ton on big name brand studs like Simms who sells theirs for 5 times a much. Check them out sometime Good luck out there and hope you keep creating awesome videos Jess! Take care.
