I really like how after Max's Enlightenment ending, he changes his tone in his dialogue even for lines that existed pre-enlightenment. Now there's attention to character!

Agreed! She's really friendly as well! Every companion adds something new to the unreliable's environment! Felix's rebellious nature. Ellie's sarcasm. Max's Patience. Parvati's kindness. Nyoka's fierceness. They all add a little something to the story of the game! Even SAM adds something with him being a walking Advert most of the time.
I'll always love how companions can talk to each other like this, really makes you all feel like a team. I really wish this was a feature in New Vegas. It does kinda happen in Dead Money, I guess..
I love Felix's conversation with SAM about the nature of the difficulty of cleaning up the Board's mess, and how SAM is basically just saying product slogans that somewhat apply to the conversation and Felix is able to do something with it.

Nyoka’s usually drunk. She loves alcohol. Though she also likes nature and prefers being on solid ground. Once the Star Crossed Troopers quest is complete, she becomes more of a stronger person, and you help her put her friends to rest. She’s really useful when fighting big threats and scouting out paths, especially when taking on either mantiqueens or large groups of marauders.
Max is my favorite. I like the sarastic jerk personality he starts with and I like the "not quite off the trip yet" fatherly perspnality he end with too. I wish his special attacks would also reflect that change a bit. A smiling preacher forgiving you your sins while filling you with lead from a 12 gauge... that would be instant win. He still has by far the best special attack lines.

I LOVE how Max actually went from believing jerk to a person so nice you ask yourself if it's the same person that you picked up in Edgewater. 4. Yep. Ellie’s Sidearm. Her starting auto pistol. I like to view her as the sniper of the team. She certainly becomes a lot nicer once you complete The Low Crusade.

Hearing Max go from a snide jackass with Felix and Ellie, who honestly deserve it most of the time, to loving and caring for them is so adorable.
