SMS Castle of Illusion is great, one of those games that even back then we wanted more stages and a harder difficulty to keep playing it. I never finished the 16-bit version, but I'll play this series and the Magical Quest games for the SNES from Capcom, a among a few Japan exclusives for the NES and SNES, from other developers and publishers. Note I was never a big Disney fan, but some video games featuring their characters are really good. Sega and Capcom made great games with the Disney series. I wonder what Konami would do with Mickey, Donald and others, as I enjoyed Looney tunes on the SNES and Mega Drive a lot in the 90s.
The HD Castle of Illusion is actually still available on X Box Series. They made the 360 version backwards compatible and it's still available to purchase. Yay for backward compatibility.
Great video! I think i agree on most parts. Legend of illusion was a big Let down for me, not that its bad, but it just lacks the magic from the other games.

The sad part is that I own Castle of Illusion and world of illusion for the Mega Drive but they are still in my backlog 😅😓
