When I emigrated from the UK in 1995. The points system was very tough to get through. In fact on a 2% success rate from the UK. I was considered a highly skilled immigrant. I’ve worked, coached sports, lectured in colleges, and started my own my own small business. The influx over the last 10 years have been very poor, socially Agressive and violent. The liberal government along with the NDP are flooding the country with these individuals for Marxist ideology in my opinion , I also feel our government and media are a totalitarian partnership.

I grew up at a time where immigration and its importance was truly taught to us as kids ...as a vaunted national interest. My School and life was multicultural and openminded and I still believe this. But the country that those immigrants were moving to has changed. Even the children of those immigrants are asking the same questions...It isn't just "white people" wanting to know why the door has been flung open so wide for anyone to come here and almost all from one single nation (India). It's also important to talk about these new immigrants. It's my belief that the government has recognized that for the last 30 years Canadians did not have enough children. Leaving the nation with a major demographic problem. there aren't enough young people to take over as the Baby boomers finish retiring, and Gen X all start to retire. but rather than the immigrants in the past who moved here , bought homes, established lives and had their own children and became Canadians....These immigrants are not the same. They are economic migrants, who want to live here, work , make money and send it to families at home in India. they will get their PRs if possible and become Citizens, but Canada allows you to keep your foreign citizenship as well. So they can actually work here, send money overseas, retire back to India where cost of living is lower and never spend money in Canada. there's no incentive for them to become Canadian as past generations of immigrant families. Now that isn't everyone, Some are selling everything and moving here. A young guy from India whom I work with, just built a house for 800G his family at home sold everything and now he, his parents and grand parents are all going to live in this house. But lets think about that. He's here, Working , buying a home and paying taxes (for the last 8 years living here)! YAY for Canada right? But his parent and grand parents are coming here from India to live....Yay for him. But his parents are in their late fifties and early sixties and his grand parents are even older. Now they will need health care, and doctor visits and prescription medicines and they don't pay taxes, and they've never paid income tax. that's one guy paying his taxes and 4 who are not Ultimately I think Canadians are beginning to feel like we are willing fools. That out exceptionally high trust society is being taken advantage of. We committed sins to create one of the wealthiest, safest, equality centric democratic nations on earth, and the guys in the Laurentian elite that make the decisions can isolate themselves from the discomfort, stress and pressure that we; as working Canadians will have to endure. As they pat themselves on the back about how wonderful , openminded and inclusive they are.

I went for almost a year without a family doctor when my doctor retired.....have one now, she is OK but not the same quality. As a second generation immigrant. Canada really dropped the ball with the high influx of international students and uncounted immigration, Canada was great in Harper times and before. We personally went down to US for multiple other reasons but also the rise in cost of living and other factors. There are so many 2nd gen & 3rd gen immigrants I know that are quite literally against high immigration. UK & France are taking huge Ls rn cuz of it.
I sure miss the Canada that i grew up in. Its scary now. I left Toronto after 25 years because of immigration. There are too many people here now that shouldn,t be. Roxham Road did a lot of damage.

Immigration is not the problem. The problem is that it's out of control, there are no checks and balances, there are no proper screening processes in place. One family comes in and brings their skills and earn money whilst helping to build the country and it's productivity base. Then the whole family comes in with them and they fail to assimilate. Then a community of that ethnicity is established and the crime starts. Then there's no real repercussions for the crime. Now we have a crime problem and the divisions and lawlessness that those people have supposedly escaped are established here and all Canadians suffer. They over-populate the cities and the cities cannot cope. Infrastructure breaks down, schools, hospitals, emergency services, all swamped and under pressure and under funded because there isn't enough money to support the sheer amount of people demanding the services or the pressure that is placed on the resources. The insane amounts and insane pace of people coming in was not tied to housing, infrastructure, or even the economy. We've got a Housing Crisis on steroids. We've got a Healthcare and Infrastructure collapse. And we've got a stagnating economy that per capita each quarter we keep getting poorer. So along with massive competition for work the rental/ownership market also has massive competition. Which means the most affordable and basic rentals/ownership options are in high demand making them almost impossible to access or if you even get lucky to get your hands on, one the affordability crisis kicks in. my middle school classes were overcrowded and i basically stopped learning because i had a learning disability and disruptive kids were left in the classroom and the incompetent teachers never got fired, just allowed to resign at the end of the school year. 38 kids in a classroom. kids with fetal alcohol syndrome emulating gang culture fighting and stealing all the time. apathetic and under resourced teachers dealing with behavioral difficulties, learning disabilities, and language barriers all in one classroom. this was back in the 90's and from what i've heard nothing has changed. kids with challenges are being left behind by over crowded classrooms and not going on to finish high school, but the Liberals have a billion dollars for free lunches.
It's quite easy to summarize, in school we learned English and French. However you can no longer expect to be able to communicate with roughly half of the population as they don't know English or French. Asians and Indians will represent a majority in our country and our population will more than double by 2050 and that is by our own government not even accounting for illegal immigration, that is the target. At this moment the USA and Canada have no boarder which is really the only metric that defines a "country" which is sad.

When I emigrated from the UK in 1995. The points system was very tough to get through. In fact on a 2% success rate from the UK. I was considered a highly skilled immigrant. I’ve worked, coached sports, lectured in colleges, and started my own my own small business. The influx over the last 10 years have been very poor, socially Agressive and violent. I grew up at a time where immigration and its importance was truly taught to us as kids ...as a vaunted national interest. My School and life was multicultural and openminded and I still believe this. But the country that those immigrants were moving to has changed. Even the children of those immigrants are asking the same questions...It isn't just "white people" wanting to know why the door has been flung open so wide for anyone to come here and almost all from one single nation (India).
It's also important to talk about these new immigrants. It's my belief that the government has recognized that for the last 30 years Canadians did not have enough children. Leaving the nation with a major demographic problem. there aren't enough young people to take over as the Baby boomers finish retiring, and Gen X all start to retire. but rather than the immigrants in the past who moved here , bought homes, established lives and had their own children and became Canadians....These immigrants are not the same. They are economic migrants, who want to live here, work , make money and send it to families at home in India. they will get their PRs if possible and become Citizens, but Canada allows you to keep your foreign citizenship as well. So they can actually work here, send money overseas, retire back to India where cost of living is lower and never spend money in Canada. there's no incentive for them to become Canadian as past generations of immigrant families.
Now that isn't everyone, Some are selling everything and moving here. A young guy from India whom I work with, just built a house for 800G his family at home sold everything and now he, his parents and grand parents are all going to live in this house. But lets think about that. He's here, Working , buying a home and paying taxes (for the last 8 years living here)! YAY for Canada right? But his parent and grand parents are coming here from India to live....Yay for him. But his parents are in their late fifties and early sixties and his grand parents are even older. Now they will need health care, and doctor visits and prescription medicines and they don't pay taxes, and they've never paid income tax. that's one guy paying his taxes and 4 who are not
Ultimately I think Canadians are beginning to feel like we are willing fools. That out exceptionally high trust society is being taken advantage of. We committed sins to create one of the wealthiest, safest, equality centric democratic nations on earth, and the guys in the Laurentian elite that make the decisions can isolate themselves from the discomfort, stress and pressure that we; as working Canadians will have to endure. As they pat themselves on the back about how wonderful , openminded and inclusive they are.

We personally went down to US for multiple other reasons but also the rise in cost of living and other factors. Immigration is not the problem. The problem is that it's out of control, there are no checks and balances, there are no proper screening processes in place. One family comes in and brings their skills and earn money whilst helping to build the country and it's productivity base. Then the whole family comes in with them and they fail to assimilate. Then a community of that ethnicity is established and the crime starts. Then there's no real repercussions for the crime. Now we have a crime problem and the divisions and lawlessness that those people have supposedly escaped are established here and all Canadians suffer. Complete disrespect for our culture . I will never own a home or be comfortable living in a 2800 one bedroom basement sweet of an Indian immigrant. If this keeps going we will be responding by removing those responsible and then enforcing integration or deportation. My family has taken life for this country and I've prepared my whole life to do the same. I just hope this stops before I have to act and defend my home. I M CANADIAN!!

And we've got a stagnating economy that per capita each quarter we keep getting poorer.
So along with massive competition for work the rental/ownership market also has massive competition. Which means the most affordable and basic rentals/ownership options are in high demand making them almost impossible to access or if you even get lucky to get your hands on, one the affordability crisis kicks in. Canada is toast.

my middle school classes were overcrowded and i basically stopped learning because i had a learning disability and disruptive kids were left in the classroom and the incompetent teachers never got fired, just allowed to resign at the end of the school year. 38 kids in a classroom. kids with fetal alcohol syndrome emulating gang culture fighting and stealing all the time. apathetic and under resourced teachers dealing with behavioral difficulties, learning disabilities, and language barriers all in one classroom. this was back in the 90's and from what i've heard nothing has changed. kids with challenges are being left behind by over crowded classrooms and not going on to finish high school, but the Liberals have a billion dollars for free lunches.
It's quite easy to summarize, in school we learned English and French.
However you can no longer expect to be able to communicate with roughly half of the population as they don't know English or French.
Asians and Indians will represent a majority in our country and our population will more than double by 2050 and that is by our own government not even accounting for illegal immigration, that is the target. At this moment the USA and Canada have no boarder which is really the only metric that defines a "country" which is sad.
That's strange as I thought they sit IELTS before they can come.
