I found this product really interesting and I really hope other manufacturers work on the ideas and maybe one day all clothing will be designed with the idea of carrying a lot of technology in mind! TWO THUMBS UP!

great review. but still left a few questions.. 1 is it waterproof? kinda would suck getting caught in the rain wearing a vest full of electronics. and 2nd question is how does it feel moving around? do you feel weight shifts in the vest or does it hold the weight close enough to your body so you dont notice?

I do a lot of long distance running and that t-shirt looks like it would be brilliant to carry stuff around it whilst running. Might check it out

One thing they missed was to include a Power Grid throughout the Vest so you can simply plug a power cable in to the Vest and It will charge all devices that are in it.

I have several Scott e Vest products... 2 winter coats, 2 hoodies, one vest, one trench coat and my spouse has the lab coat. They are fantastic! Yes, I have transported two small laptops and a tablet in my coats through airports. It's good stuff goes right through the machines without unloading unless you have more than 1 laptop on each side... then you need to pull one...

Linus may be many things, but desperate ain't never been one of them. It's nice to see his channel broaden it's interests from time to time. Besides, everybody with a friggin cam or video capture software/device is doing GAMES TO DEATH.

for your traveler who uses a lot of tech on short flights the vest would work but i think the baton would light up the security areas in any airport
Yes, but the pockets are set up strategically for optimization and use with tech devices. There are a lot of pro poker players that wear these so they can have of there belongs while at the table without having to worry about a bag. There is also cable management for your headphones throughout the whole thing that Linus did not get to show very well.
That's the beauty of Linus.
The vest would actually be pretty handy for air travel. When you get to the scanners at the gates, just take the entire vest off and stick it on the belt. Put it back on on the other side.

I was intrigued by all the things you put in it, I was sold when you mention they ALSO make ones for people with conceal carry permits.

So, I'll go the other direction. The vest was a bit much for me, I'd prefer a light jacket, I did like the shirt though. Good on you for mixing up the content Linus.
I like the idea of this but I have two concerns. With it loaded up how much does it weigh? I understand with the distribution it's not that bad, but I would still like to know. And also, fully loaded up is it stiff to move around in? These are about the vest specifically.

I've known about ScottEVest for some time now, and originally thought it was interesting. Though for their prices I'd only buy their stuff if I flew a lot. I have a fall coat with a bicep, breast, and 2 regular pockets(all zipper). Also a winter coat with a few inner pockets and some outer ones, both of them work fine for me, and at a decent price.
Will you be using this to help you with your portable streaming?
Man I really pity you when you have all those cables held in one hand and the camera in another hand during your Nvidia coverage.
It is just a jacket with lots of pockets. It's like reinventing the wheel, and saying, "But wait, it's better because ours is round!"
first, where can we buy the nvidia hoodie? Secondly, does the table pocket support smaller notebooks say upto 13.3" or 14" in size? Would be pretty cool if you could carry your ultrabook in a pocket, That's what I though you were carrying in the back. Also, what happen when you sit down in it? Do you bend/ break stuff in the back pocket or is it designed for flexible things just like a notepad?

It's a medium sized pounch with a belt that goes around your waist. Basically a belt with a big pocket on the back, or front.

The vest isn't great looking but the functionality is great. You mentioned your nvidia hoodie, that's something much more fashionable with some of the practicality. T-shirt would be sweet in black

This would be GREAT for the convention circuit!
Conceal carry permits are only applicable to FIREARMS, they do not cover knives or any other weapon (such as the baton). you'd have to check local laws to see if carrying one in your state is legal.
The vest seems kinda niche, but the shirt looks practical. Nice video.

I came here to rant about how you're ruining your tech channel but I watched the video and it was quite good. The idea behind it is smart while the implementation is a bit ridiculous, or it might be just you wearing a vest that you could swim in. Not very fashionable but it's quite good for a wearable gadget storage bag.
Might have to check it out. First thing I thought about was how well its can conceal a handgun.

Holy crap, looking up these jackets and hoodies and found this....I have never seen a linus video with so few likes O.O...need to redo it with today's tec needs, as well as with the beard!😂 heck need a LTT hoodie with just as many pockets! I have one that yall make, but it's a bunch of small pockets, these pockets are so much bigger.
T-shirts have to be washed often. You'd need at least 2, really 3 or 4, to wear them every day. The expense would be off-putting, & switching all that stuff every day or 2?

Those seem nice. To be honest, $120 for the vest wouldn't be all that bad if you often carry a lot of stuff around (totally wasn't expecting the tablet there... I thought it would be in the back) and don't want something bulky like a whole bag. I'd prefer it as more of a jacket though, even just a windbreaker would be nice.
when space glasses/google glass come out wear as much tech as possible. The outfit you had on in this video plus the pebble and space glasses, and anything else you can think of from head to tows :D

haha yup a lot less conspicuous then wearing giant cargo jeans,with 100 pockets, tucked into your socks while wearing a hoodie with a giant front pouch...in the middle of the summer. I used to work security at a mall and sometimes people made it that easy ;p
