Erica, you have a great grasp of the English language. If you are not a teacher, you should become one. You both remind me of my bf and myself. He is Danish . His English is good but I do find myself correcting it and he corrects my Danish. Love your videos❤. Getting ready for my Camino in August. I hope to be able to meet up with you both😊
I did part of the Podiensis up to Cahors last year, This year, I'll finish the Podiensis to St-Jean Pied de ^Port and then will do the Frances to Finisterra , if everything goes well.
Thank you so much for this video! I absolutely adore your channel, you guys are giving me so much important information and just helping me with my research! Me and my sister are going to do our first camino this year! We are going to walk from Porto in Portugal to Santiago de Compostela at the end of August. I'm trying to gather as much information to ease my anxiety and your videos are helping me a lot! Much love from north Sweden 💖🧡
Can't wait for Erica's english course! When are you on the Camino Frances? I leave St Jean Pied de Port on the 24th May - I really hope I bump into you two. 🚶♂🚶♀
planning to do the portuguese way from porto! i live in lisbon and i thought it could be really cool to walk from the city where i live but as a first time walker i figured that was a bit too intense :D
This Channel has been absolutely awesome & an integral part of my research over the last year. I start my first Camino next week, I leave London on Monday & will be leaving SJPDP 24th May. Ive been worried about the heat being in Spain for the whole of June but looking at the weather im in for a first week of solid rain & cold 😂🙃🙂 Considering taking my lightweight under layer puffer jacket & my synthetic puffy blanket. I planned just a silk liner & poncho & thinking ill probably just stick with that. I was concerned about the heat so i cant complain about the rain haha. Thanks for all of your awesome videos guys. Big Love, Jimmy 💚
albergues are a crapshoot. Our group stayed in private albergues for 12 days. All were different. The main challenge was SNORING! I never got a good night sleep. Solution: noise canceling headphones. I had no idea and suffered accordingly... sleeping in in the bathroom or reception to escape the noise.
sometimes I think that learning how to deal with snoring and other uncomfortable situations is a great Camino lesson, and sometimes the only way is to sleep in the bathroom or outside :) and sometimes it still doesnt help :) hugs
Fun vid, one can just use the knapsack. Let the sleeping bag fill the bottom of the pack, loose. No wasted space, the sleeping bag conforms to the shape of the pack
What if you did a video as if you were both 70-75? Step by step, forwarding your backpack, stopping more often, not staying in an albergue but a hotel? I’d love that. It could be really cute, you two pretending to be an old married couple.
Just go for it, and then things just align! We started with 0 subscribers and now we are getting 10,000…. cRAZY! And it just happened as the outcome of doing! Go for it!

How cute, an Italian correcting a Spanish speaker on their English Grammer. Love it!
That's hilarious 😂
I found the Vino Tinto helped me.
It never fails- that’s what they say ;)
I am planning on walking the Camino Frances in May 2024..
Another beautiful video my friends. I was laughing just from the thumbnail 😂
Yesterday we watched your video where you were recording without the coffee… hahaha so funny!

Portoguise from september - wondering if I should bring a Marino liner og sleeping bag (summer style) for the albergues
Sleeping bag summer style could be a good idea… the northern part of Portugal is not as sunny, as the tour operators claim ;)
We are looking at Portuguese Camino this fall or next spring. Appreciate your capturing of scenery and commentary. We enjoy your postings. Thank you.
My husband and I just walked part of the Camino Frances the last two weeks. We stayed in a variety of places and slept well at all with “earplugs”.
Congratulations! welcome to the never ending passion, which is the Camino that you might do next? and yes, earplugs are... THE MUST! hugs

Great idea! Thanks
Pq sale en español el titulo del video? Mi no entender
Hay subtítulos, en la parte abajo de pantalla!
Synthetic puffy blanket, what’s great about synthetic is you can just throw it in the wash and not worry about it.
Exactly!
There are many reports that getting a bed is difficult on the Camino Frances.

Hahahaha We love this idea!
I want to do camino mozarabe into via de la plata as soon as my blog produces enough income to sustain me while I am walking.

Yes please! Now 20k
Don’t complicate it. Less is more. You won’t regret it.
Erin! When is you next Camino?
I’m thinking of the French Way next spring.
@@caminotellers Next spring, God willing Probably the French Way.
