yeah! that's why I LOVE that tune. My personal reccomendation to you: Undercover Elephant - "The Realm Cougar" ua-cam.com/video/-6A94L4LeHg/v-deo.html High volume, to enjoy its best.
This brings me straight back to the 1990s. Love it. Appropriately, I'm listening to this on ancient Sansui 3 ways being pushed by a Magnavox stereo from 1991.
This is so awesome. I came across some cassette tapes. With stuff I did back in the early 90's. I found this video to show the little ones how it was done. They think it's cool. I am very impressed with your mix of tracks. Great job. I did MOD's tell about 94ish. Then I moved to MIDI with my Creative Labs Awe32 with daughter board and 4 MB of ram on board. Making my own sound banks from WAV file samples. That's as serious as I got with it. Any way, Thank you!
No, rumours are they did dabble with soundtracker/protracker/octamed or something on Amiga in combination with other hardware either for their first album or before that.
Ready or not (OMG!!!!) Loved that tune back then and it's still fresh as that summer, remake of the The Fugees version of the original melody of Boadicea by Enya. Funny thing: They had to pay to Enya for using that humming melody. ;)
ironically i think in some way hardware limitations were very good for the programming world, you had to make the most efficient designs as a result of low end hardware, now i feel like with incredible hardware we became lazy and complacent with inefficient code, which is a sad thing to see.
@@ChristopherGray00 I'm a web developer and can relate. Back in the day, we made websites as small as possible. These days, 99% of the sites we build are jampacked with crap, like React bundles that are massive. It's a lot easier to be a lazy developer these days because we no longer care about size.

That bassline in "ready or not" is so so badass!
its also using so many samples that would cause so much legal issues if they tried to release it for profit.
Big Daddy - Ready or Not Such awesome tricks with the amen break.....big WOW !!!!

"ready or not" is a really cool vibe
who needs vinyl and cd's when you got a miggy with mods
maybe not cd´s but vinyl definitely ;-)
@@AlphaCarinae vinyl is only good if you can't find music on digital or disc.
@@comradesusiwolf1599 not really man. if great music exists, vinyl is just another way to find it
It's not modded.
It’s software he installed it’s not modified it’s how it rolls.
I wonder if the Winston brothers knew how big that small drum break was going to become😂
Edit- is this how “The Prodigy” made music?
No, rumours are they did dabble with soundtracker/protracker/octamed or something on Amiga in combination with other hardware either for their first album or before that.
I never really figured out Tracker programming as a kid, which is really shame when i think about it now. RESPECT
noice, loved the artifacts you get from not chopping and slicing some of the breaks perfectly, truly a thing to embrace on a tracker 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
