  • G'day peeps, I've decided to re-record the first couple of protracker uploads from 2 years ago, this time in 720p and I've added song information aswell.
    I've also changed the protracker colours a little and rearranged the tracklist order.
    I hope you enjoy this kick-ass compilation of hardtrance and goa electro style frequencies done by Neurodancer. A fresh Neurodancer Compilation #3 will be uploaded in very near future :)))

    a lot of it reminds me of the more breakbeat hardcore moments on Orbital's first couple albums, or 808 State's second album. Don Solaris is still my favorite album by them but I enjoy the sometimes cheesy sound of this early 90s Amiga techno at times.

    Yes - wonderful. With WinUAE i have on my PC the best AMIGA I've ever had - it's a wonderful simulator and i like to play the old games like History Line for example. Thank you for your great work :-)

    Hi can you send me a link to download the Protracker 3.61 manual?

    • @OmenFrankfurt
      @OmenFrankfurt 8 років тому +3

      +TheReasonForYou I don't think there's something like an official manual for Protracker, but you can download the original Amiga archive from here (aminet.net/mus/edit/Protracker3.61.lha). There are some doc and readme files in, listing the command codes used and file format and such. Also theres a collection of self made docs, collected by Foul: eab.abime.net/showpost.php?s=7e7428fb64e954415d83e6bbb96ad329&p=822899&postcount=3

    Some of the sounds are like doom. did you use samples from doom to make this?

    • @Bembel81

      You Don't seem to know how this works. This music is purely made with the Amiga soundchip!

    • @MSDOS128
      @MSDOS128 4 роки тому +7

      @@Bembel81 Every sound played back from a computer is 'purely' made by its soundchip (DAC circuit). Music tracker software always does work with samples (it can't pack all your VSTs or anything inside a *.mod/ogg file!), either prerendered or generated realtime, as in the case of Amiga and Protracker. I think there were some samples from Doom as well

    Does this music have any copyright on it?

    • @SpeedySPCFan
      @SpeedySPCFan 5 років тому +5

      All music is copyrighted. That said, I've never seen any tracker musicians have an issue with their tunes being used in a video - just check the license attached to the files where applicable, and always give credit.

      Oh nice, never seen that one :)
      Looks like I have the wrong year for this tune, somehow I have 1998 for this 1994 track.
      Also there is 2 different names for this mod, 4 Spirits and Warp69.
      Warp69.mod was ripped,obviously from the demo. 4 Spirits looks to have been released by Neurodancer.
      Still have no idea how I got 1998, maybe mistaken from a different .mod :/

      The .mods have no info relating to release but in the demo it says (at approx 1min28sec in) released September 94 plus Warp69.mod was uploaded to Aminet in '95 so I think the 1994 date is good.
