I don't really understand how Ellen works. I noticed that the attacks after the dash become ice type like ayaka in genshin but how do you manage to do all the normal attack combo with the ice element? From what I had seen you only have three ice attacks. Is it thanks to a weapon? (end of balls which are the equivalent of weapons)
How Alexandrina gameplay feeling for example : is she feel clunky to play compare to other character? I love her design and she is love at first sight like Noelle in Genshin and Himeko in HSR and Alexandrina is like both combine
After watching so much gameplay i need to ask this question, do you really need a party of 3 members? Besides the flashy swap attack is there really a need of other team members? Can't you just overkill all enemies with only one very good built DPS character?

This is one of the most dangerous mistake a Game Dev can make: making a useless (or not using the full potential) of a mechanic/gameplay in a action/ hack & Slash game, if this continue players Will ONLY bother raising a few DPS characters and ignoring any team related built
@@spades_111i dont think its useless. they reward you for switching/combo-ing with other units often. they have a resonance-thingy where they can increase their own stats or buffs the unit depending on what unit you have on team. switching in battle also counts as parrying/evading, which rewards you when you successfully counter,parry, or evade. i've noticed the video doesnt really use this mechanic much and just bruteforce/tank everything. sucessfully parrying allows you to speed up enemy stagger more quickly than just solo-combo-ing (i've seen someone 20 stagger in a single instance when parrying), and iirc also restores more energy than just the normal basic string, which allows you to special more often, which in turn speeds up the stagger buildup, which in turn more damage. you can go solo, but the team mechanic doesnt have a downside, and rewards you for having more characters in team. also theres no healers in zzz, so unles you're a god gamer no-hit player, i think having more units equals bigger hp pools, equals more survivability. oh and, dont worry about "building a few dps characters" when every single unit in the game is a dps LOL
Combat looks really fun. I hope on release we will have more of it. And they need to make the campaign harder or provide optional setting to increase the difficulty cause currently it's too easy which takes away from the fun
most people in the comments are rly not thinking this thru. “you just need one good unit” “the gameplay is so flawed” first remark is what everyone said about Seele during HSR beta and that debuffers were useless. NOW look at the current meta. silver wolf and pela are two of the highest used units alongside S1 luocha. also everyone thought Welt was the best DPS in the game during CBT AND 1.0. like let’s be serious…this is the beta. give them time.
I like this type of combat, but this looks so boring and easy to me... Hope that in future mobs will become more agressive, more tankier and they will deal more damage. But sadly, nothing will change :(
I think it's pretty mihoyo type of combat, in other word, simple. Their target audience is of course Gen Z and later. Their decision to makes game easier to play for even wider audience leave the great aspect of the game which is "victory" feeling. There's doesn't seem to be hard, aggressive boss at all, not Honkai 3rd, Genshin, and HSR, and now ZZZ. The only thing that they care the most fot the favor of player is increasing boss stat mainly to prolong the combat time. Maybe, next year imma just wait for WW from Kuro instead, tho ZZZ character design is good, but not the combat
Enemies are easy but then when hard content comes people complain and say pay to win

3 character just for quick swap combo + counter combo , but you can use one character for solo

From the looks of the combat is similar to HI3 than it is to open world combat in Genshin, or a turn based combat in HSR.
