Happiness is so difficult to keep up even on the easiest happiness difficulty.....like even with these tips it's only going to give you like three immigrants then your back down to 72 and 74 happiness.

Give half your pop a day off and you'll be able to squeeze in more

Hey Icon, thank you so much for these videos, I don't think I'd be able to get into this game without the level of detail you put into your tutorials!
Something I hope helps: On your section of housing in the video when you are talking about upgrading houses to the favored material of your species, the arrow icon in the Structures menu is actually a conversion tool. You can select that, your desired building type and then drag over any buildings you wish to upgrade.

First of all, thankyou for making these vids. Info about this game is , sadly, hard to find. When you showed the mesh grid of the services coverage some of the blocks are grey, some light blue, and a few are red. Do you know what the different colors mean?

I assume (cause I haven't found any explanation):
Grey: Nobody needs this service here
Light Blue: People needing this service here have the need satisfied
Red: People are looking for the service but are not fulfilling it.

Are you planning a tutorial on the new waring costs? Or on slaves and how to keep them docile and all? These are two subjects that I don't see much of. Is keeping some cretonians as slaves into the fields is something useful to do? How do we take care of slaves' needs, is it the same as any of our "normal" citizen?
Thanks again for making this short themed videos, it makes things easier to assimilate.

This one came at a great time. A serial killer almost sent my 700+ tutorial city into a death spiral 🥲 lighting and harmony ended up being a great way to boost my happiness enough to get things back on track

To cut down on the worst event of the serial killer, make sure everything is well lit and that you have enough guards to go around. There's at least 3 different serial killers: Jack the Ripper, The Black Widow and a 3rd one that I can't recall de name. Trying to boost morale when under the serial killer event is almost impossible.
There's also something that I don't like, even at a population of 500 your inhabitants will require Temples or demand judging which is imposible to do. Also the government meter is the most bipolar in the game, it keeps getting up and down in days.

They require everything right from the beginning. What changes is they require a higher (%) of their needs satisfied as pop grows.
