The car feels the same I think, I pushed it a couple times without a tune and still have yet to tune it 😂 it might be good to get a tune if you’re getting multiple mods at a time 👍🏼 except if it’s a major mod that NEEDS a tune
Yea so far it seems fine and the car is running well for over a year now. If you are really hesitant though you can hold off on the tune until you get the future parts 👍🏼

I am planning to install an ETS turbo kit on my bone stock EVO X and I wonder if I will see a delay in spool times (currently kicks in around 3500 rpm). Also, you did not get a remap, right?
Thank you for the kind words 😁. I didn't really notice a huge difference in the turbo lag because I'm also using the stock turbo for now and I feel it's about the same. I'm not tooooo sure but I feel it kicks in at around 3800 for me. Didn't do a remap but I feel to really feel the difference between the 2.5 and the 4 I will probably have to get a retune. I am going to be going with a bigger turbo in the future so I just wanted to future proof my car haha 👍

If you're close by I can help you install parts if I'm free, I'm no expert and I learn as I work on my car thanks to youtube videos like yours. If it took you 5 hours to install the IC and IC pipes, it may take you 4 hours with my help hahaha.

Even before the quick release I didn't run the fender liners or under tray 😂🤣 hahaha. There isn't a big difference I feel when running without those but I'm in areas that doesn't have too much road debris or rocks that can fling up into the undercarriage. Taking them off makes it so much easier to work on the car so I thought why not. Quick release definitely makes it easier to access the front end of the car 👍

Installing the intercooler isn’t too bad compared to the lower intercooler piping if you get a 4inch or smaller hahah. I think my car someone bumped it in the front so it has a little less space than stock. You can definitely do it if you did the piping 👍🏼 thank you for the continued support 😄
Pretty sure that's the power steering cooler but 💯 anything on the evo you have to take time . You should looking into a sent of Rad hose picks to help with the stuck hoses .
@@JeffSongCars also on a side note from not sure if you do all your servicing but I am an Amsoil independent dealer , I obviously can't sponsor "free oil " your page but if you want I could give you a account to help you get the best cost on the oil . I just did my transfer case and transmission in mine yesterday.
I do oil changes at most but I really want to be able to do my whole car so that would be awesome! I do have a couple of gallons on synthetic oil left over but let's keep in touch!
Sadly I think my car was hit and run as another viewer pointed out, I think someone hit my car just enough so that the bumper didn't show any damage but enough to push the upper portion that the intercooler slides into inwards so that the intercooler didn't fit 😭, just glad that it fit afterwards haha 👍
I’ve been running the car without a tune after the intercooler system but I was tuned before that. I don’t think it’s absolutely necessary to tune but it would help with the performance of the car 👍🏼
I tried sliding the intercooler upwards but the middle metal portion that holds the freon was blocking the intercooler from going up any further, was there another way around that? I couldn't for the life of me push the intercooler upwards to make it fit the two bolts on the bottom of the intercooler hahah
If you get the intercooler piping anyone, don't bother with the lower intercooler piping. The stock one is fine. Save yourself a couple hundred dollars
@@evolicious-x Yea same here haha I never thought to look down there before installing and ended up buying the whole thing 🤣. Quick release makes life soooo much easier haha just be prepared to drill into your bumper though!

The 3.5 intercooler fits perfectly fine and I think it’s rated for up to 700-750hp. But anyways nice work man🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾

I have in the box red silicone ones from mishimoto. I just installed their radiator and oil cooler (oil cooler wouldn't recommend bad fitment)
I heard there was a dual oil cooler/coolant reservoir from MAP might look into that 👍

Should remove the intercooler shrouds. Makes it look more aggressive. Are you going with 18k turbo?

Same but I noticed how much hard piping there was on the stock one and I assumed it was mainly rubber.
