Tremendous demo! Great outline covering so many bases that others can learn from. This may be one of the most sonically complex pedals to demo as well, but you made this so easy to follow. Well done
Thanks mate, I ordered mine 3 days ago on "reverb", I had no idea how the Ps3 sounded like before, and bought the real thing literally 8 hours after seeing your video. I just can't wait to try it with my Boss MD500, my Eventide Space and my 70's Roland JC120 ♥ Cheers from south of France.
Great demo! I have one of these on my board and I think you did a great job showing what it's really like. It can be tricky to tame it into something usable, but it's beautiful when you find those moments.
In my experience (I've had a ps-3 for probably 10 years at least) you get the most out of modes 5-7 by either keeping the wet kinda low, say like 9 o'clock, or just go full wet. With the wet and dry at 50/50 they just kind of fight each other. Also the detune modes are probably my favorite, chorus like effect. And mode 3 at full time and repeats let's you do some cool sound on sound quasi looping.
I was pretty hooked into the PS2, but damn your video is really making me consider a PS3 😮💨 my wallet cries hard! This video was beautiful (: sounds, playing, aesthetics.. All perfect my dude. Thanks a lot for posting!
Great review man. Smart way of reviewing it and adapting to the pedal's possibilities. The review I watched before this one was a guy playing blues with this pedal... the pedal sounded like shit, of course. Now I see it's a very cool pedal.
Bought my pink label (used then) MANY years ago ('98); soon heard Satriani using one on a tune.... Fluttering firefly effect, very exotic. Use mine for cavernous Cathedral. Still have the pedal, still works great.
Check out it's predecessor, which can't do both at once, has a tuner out which is functionally an oscillator, and its modes will bleed through when you change between them.
knobs was great back then, he started to do good stuff first. then those guys came that make it even better. just look at ponder sounds for example. or pedalzone.
Had one, loved it, sold it, bought ps5, didn’t love it, sold it, bought ps3 again, love it.

I love this video. This been my favorite pedal all this years.
A beautiful tribute to a beloved one. Thank you.

It's one of my favorite pedals and I will never sell it.
Jesus Christ that sounds like fun.
High quality pedal demo video! Looking forward to you sharing all your crazy pedals!!!
Been running this pedal on my gig board for over 25 years.

Nice playing. You really played to the effect.
This must be how they made the old school Zelda tracks lol

Still have the pedal, still works great.
Fantastic demo, please do more
Great job! You should try stacking 2 of them it’s insane.
Most musical, beautiful really, demo
I need this pedal!
And chocolate too!
perfect sound!

Will definitely check out the PS-2 if I ever come across one!
You have a really good guitar hopefully can buy soon like yours
I want a Cookie Monster for my headstock too 😢
2:00 sounds very Buckethead/Incubus esque.
Whoaaaa, a nice demo. Feeling gassy.
... Uh Man That is Too Awsome, where did you find that , My favorite flavor is Wasabi-Matcha and Okinawa purple potato...
I have no idea hahaha
@@wazu1 ...Uhh, Better Get Back To you on That, I was Referring to the Japanese "Kit-Kat" and the 250 crazy flavours they have over there!!!
Can the pitch shift feedback do fifths or 3rd ? I had a digitech that could do that.
Are modes 8-10 specifically for stereo use or does it also work in mono as well?
If you use the stereo mode in mono, both outputs will be mixed down to just a mono output
Very interesting demo ,bravooo 👌🏻...
Is it true that this pedal it's a real tone/ signal sucker or plain myth???
knobs, is that yew baby?
Bro, is it For Sale, isn't it an Efex Fit Sifter
Too bad the delayed signal is not shifted some cents of a semitone down or up
In the delay mode, the pedal is just a digital delay pedal so there's no crazy pitch shifting going on
@@wazu1 Yeah, I know. I just think if the wet signal was just a tiny bit detuned the delay mode would be a lot more interesting.
👌🏼
Gostei!!
That headstock decoration reminds me of something ai-generated
Does it have a volume drop?
I don’t think so the volume is pretty consistent
It sounds like a super Nintendo
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Бакинские гитариств играют с этим эффектами у ник шикарно звучат они. А тут только хорус только и слышен
mike olfield genre
Your guitar is no longer headless.
Wow, someone's ripping off Knobs
I wish I could even come close to being as good as Knobs, that man is my idol :(

"OMG! Someone 😳 making... gear demos??? on UA-cam??!?!"
Jeez, what a silly comment to make
Wow someone’s ripping off countless other edgy comments
Did knobs review this pedal?
