- Sitting out Zwift Racing League this week, trying to get my race legs back with the new Zwift Monthly Racing Series Race Like a Champ. Still recovering, I am hopeful to sit in and let the pack do the work. Breakaway Brae has a different plan for me. 201bpm to the finish line!
🚴♂️ Stage 1: Glasgow Rolling Highlands, 2 Laps, 23km, 183m elevation. This race includes 3 trip up Breakaway Brae, a short but significant climb which sorts out the field.

Great first ride back. Lost a bit of momentum at 22.5. If you went then, you would have been closer! But who feels like going early 😀🥵

Yeah the virus tube on the way back from Japan served it up. Got past it a lot easier this time though. I noticed the light in post, I think the bulb overhead had a flicker. Will address in the next one. Definitely left my attack too late.
@@ModerateCyclist seems like a lof of the winners on this one are going earlier and earlier. I had success going at the start of the KOM (bottom of Brae) but the guy that beat me did a slingshot coming over the bridge!
C19, it feels like everyone coming home after school holidays and really mobilised C19 again.

Flicker could be a 50-60hz issue. @@ModerateCyclist
I’m pretty sure it’s the bulb. Will put a smart one in there and do a test. Need a better key light for ride filming though… Future plans.
