Just today I tried to power up a Sansa Clip.... Dead battery but did start charging and it plays tracks already in the flash. But the Winn 11 machine I'm using does not see the SANSA at all. I think I am using a legit USB cable and not one of those for just charging. Queries on Google show troubleshooting info but nothing works yet. Wanted to use this as a program source for a little AM transmitter driving a 1926 German radio, the Loewe OE-333. But the country music currently on the SANSA just won't do.... I need late 1920s German dance music.....
It does! You’d be surprised at just how many early iPods use Wolfson DACs. The Classics use Wolfsons from the 3rd gen up to 5.5. And the Nanos have Wolfsons from 1st gen up to the 3rd
Definitely. Get on that bro. They're cheap. Any iPod before the 5.5 classic... I have all of them. The nanos before the 4 I think have Wolfson. The minis. The best sounding one out of the shuffles is the 1st Gen. Has a sigma tel chip
I got many years of use out of one of these. Thanks for the look back!
I had one of these! Super cool little player and there's custom fw for them too!
I miss old school MP3 players
One of the MP3 players of all time. :)
I saw that :P it took me a second to get it. I love that description for something that just okay at doing something.
underrated description
That is really wonderful player. I like it very much!)
Actually, you can install alternative software to it, with bunch of apps and games, including Doom.
I am currently putting mine (12 years old) through surgery to repair the headphone jack and replace the battery!
this made me want to get an mp3 player
