Thank you! I had this same battle because I love using notion for notes and just project management, but my biggest battle is using it as my task manager when I'm on the go. The app on the mobile app is just too clunky. Like I just need to see my shopping list and be able to check things off but the view on the mobile app is just not compact and smooth. It's too many clicks or swipes when I use it to track my daily habits. Like I wish I can just use the ticktick UI for todo lists but have the data update in notion. I know you can do it with apis and automations but that's another little project added to my to do list.

This is a timely video, as I've been having the same internal debate. This is definitely the way to go with daily recurring tasks, but one issue I had was with tracking weekly/monthly/quarterly chores. I had them all in recurring tasks in my task manager, but just recently moved those into Notion as the growing backlog was clogging up the flow of my to-do app. I guess if I actually did those tasks, I wouldn't have a backlog. I think I've settled on tracking when items were last done in Notion, and moving those into my to-do app weekly during my nightly planning time.
Separately, how does Todoist compare to Apple Reminders for this flow and task capture? I'm new to the Apple ecosystem (also rocking an Apple Watch), and have been considering moving to Reminders for native Siri task capturing.

I realized lately that the time we call it "productivity" is actually the time we spent working in front of our computers. Nothing more nothing less. So as long as you provide time for that you are productive

When all you have is a Notion, everything looks like a database.

What do you think about the humane AI pin that is coming up in March I agree with Elon Musk’s philosophy “all input is error”. The ai pin seems like one of those products.
I say all this because I love Notion, but I always find myself getting distracted by the process of creating and managing the Notion itself

We don’t need the method acting. It’s really annoying.

@@habibmohammed2779 You have access to our technology, our culture, our dictionaries and search engines, yet still we see people with your kind of name asking to have your ignorance repaired on the spot, with zero effort on your part. Go to a forum for filmmakers and you're guaranteed to see someone with an Arabic name ask stuff like "How do I make a movie?" or "How can I be a director?", actually expecting some social media comment to do for you what actually requires a lot of books, a lot of study, a lot of experience, a lot of experimentation, a lot of hard work, and a lot of intelligence. Even if I told you what method acting is, you would not understand the point I was making here.
