Val Storey Interview: On Nashville Club The Station Inn

Vocalist Val Storey shares the story of how her regular stint at renowned Nashville bluegrass venue The Station Inn came to be, and how the club's Ann Soyars-a spitfire who worked the front door and helped book bands for many years-figured in to what was an unexpected return to the stage.
The interview with Storey was conducted at Nashville's Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in 2021, in front of the exhibition "The Station Inn: Bluegrass Beacon" (on view January 15, 2021, through January 2, 2022).

I ran into her years ago when we sung at a wedding I was amazed her and her mother are the sweetest even the groom passed out lol and like that I never saw her again and always wonder where she was at until this showed up I follow Carl Jackson one of the most humble men in country music
