There's an old band from Regina, Saskatchewan called "Built in Shellbrook" and they started band with the idea to write songs that sound like Shovel by Quicksand. Pretty good material from them, hard to find, but yeah it's rad. Check 'em out!

Fair enough but Quicksand was pre-Hum for sure. They both kind of grew out of separate scenes but collided.
