Still watching this one but Happy New Year to you and your family and all the best for 2023, now back to watching Have a great Week ahead Cheers KC 🇦🇺🤝🇦🇺😎👍
Coming along nicely Sammy 👌 😎.. The mod you did to the rear taillight bar nailed it mate.. The gusset should help reinforce the coilover mount mate.. Looking fantastic mate keep up the great content 👍 👌
Hi champ toner is getting more radical looking great like the little gussets and the taillight ends try a dummy little 45 gusettes on the bottom of the number plate frame take away the square bottom look keep the videos comming cheers
Unless a fuel tank is strapped you should check the brackets for cracks often. I'm no expert but I've seen them cracked on a few cars. Maybe they need a spring type bolt to allow flex as solid mounting stresses them over time.
Hi . Just wondering if the mounts on the fuel tank will be strong enough to hold it when it's full of gas and driving around ? I was thinking it mite want to split the tank where the mounting tabs are welded on without any straps running underneath it taking the weight. Love the build , plenty of motivation for me to finish my hz ute .
Good question Mate. I drilled a couple of drain holes in the bottom of that rear crossmember to drain any water out. I was thinking about that today how I forgot to mention that.
Hey mate love the series. Have you looked into supports and protection for that tank incase you ever got into an accident? A guy named gingum on UA-cam did a engine bay tank and a week later got hit and it caught fire. Wouldn’t want you to be injured or die bro
Perfect modification to the rear bar. It really nails the tonner’s angles. And the drop-tank also matches 👌
Yep came up a treat. Simple and clean 👍👍👍
Progress is good. Not a boring video at all. One step closer 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Nothing wrong with improving your build, talented guy
Thanks Mate. Never ever happy with it haha

Awesome.. just discovered thechannel and subscribed. Thinking about doing a HJ ute build.
Thanks for the sub Mate. Good luck with the build
All the revisions just finesse the final product, I don’t think any project car is ever truly finished, always evolving, just a car guy thing
100% Mate. Its hard to draw a line sometimes and just be happy with whats been done already. Yep like you say its a car guy thing
Willing to help with fab and welding. We can always help one and another
Welding down no good. Grinding welds no good. Decent welds say it all

I'm no expert, but will water sit where the taillights go in? Love what you are doing with it so far.
