any 75 watt only pcie powered gpu emit less heat .All the Heat actually generate from the Power consumption .So low power mean less heat .

Shero Quinkan the msi Sea hawk, its an alright cars but it only has one eight pin power connector which sucks for OC as you often hit the voltage limit... I'm quite happy with it but honestly I wouldn't recommend it

That's not Linus, his hands are veiny, boney, and hairy, that's a girls hand.
The most interesting one is the little 1050 Ti from MSI, you can literally put that tiny beast in pretty much any computer. As long as it's paired with a decent Sandy bridge Core i3/i5 or better, you can turn any shitty PC into a gaming PC. The 1050 ti is better than any 7850/7870, so as long as your CPU is not something like a Pentium 4, it should out perform any console for gaming.

From the point of processing power, 1050ti vs 7950 would be a downgrade. I have a 7870 XT which is very similar to your 7950 and it surprises me how far graphics have come in just a few years.

Yeah I noticed that too. First thing I noticed was the 5.25 inch floppy drive, which was a bit outdated in 1995. Then miliseconds after that I saw the cartridge ports, I was 99% certain at that point and of course it also has the vertical stripes and the dent around the floppy drive and the cartridge ports.
They also used the Windows 98 Startup sound instead of the 95 startup sound.
And there's no turbo button on the PCJr

i used an msi 1050ti4g for about 3 months before i upgraded to a 1060ti6gb. ran like a champ for pretty much anything on 1080p. gta 5, doom, battlefield, ultra settings ran for most at about 45-50fps. loved it. great little card, will keep as backup forsure.
Well yes you don't need a full discreet gpu to play nes games, but I'm talking a full featured pc inside a NES that can play today's AAA titles at 1080p
NES games hardly tax an iGPU. What that 1050 Ti should be used for is a compact Wii and GameCube emulation HTPC

I'd consider the Katana, as my case already has good airflow. So, if the exterior of the card is part of the cooling, the internal gpu fan may not have to work as hard.

I got a Old-ish pc for about 120$ and then got a GTX 1050 ti LP, and it works really nice :)
I mean that MSI 1050ti is a great option to put in a cheap office PC with an older i5 processor. Might need extra SSD/HDD and RAM but otherwise a simple build.

I actually am tempted by that second card. I like being able to take my desktop to lan parties, and if I could fit a decent mobo into one of those small form factor cases with a 1050ti, that would be way easier to lug around than a full sized case... could be fun for my next build...
The way AMD 5000 and 7000 series APUs are heading you might be able to forget the GPU altogether unless a game has a particular need.

Hey LMG, looking at the passively cooled graphics card it looks kinda cool, and could potentially save electric not having to push air through the heat sink; but is your computer has multiple pf these cards would it effect the cards performance? i would also assume that the passive heat sink would also use the moving air from other fans inside the case, so what if you had a water cooled build with one or multiple passively cooled cards?
I used to love my Palit 1050 Ti KalmX while it was still considered a powerful gaming GPU. Now it's the most illustrious part of my collection of strange tech.

Actually, that MSI 1050 Ti cooler has been available on the MSI RX 550 for a year or two.
Just look at the beauty of a HD 4850 in Standard Cooler Design. This puppy was such a beautiful card! So much different reds in there with the copper color of the cooling blocks. Amazing! Most beautiful card ever for me in terms of pure optic.

The low profile 1050 and 1050TI were available in mainstream computer stores here in England when this video was made, so I can't imagine them not being available in America.

Back in 2002 when I was working at a small computer shop in Edison New Jersey. A guy came in with a custom GPU built for the Toy's R Us store in Time Square, and it was fried.
The poor guy was driving to literally every, single, computer shop from New York down New Jersey, looking for a replacement card.
The card he said was 1 of 16 in their store. And instead of VGA or DVI(the standard at the time), it was using 3.5mm jacks!!! The card was 3 slot wide, and about 10 inches long. I had never seen it before that day, and I had never seen it again. Even today if I do some searching, I still don't find it.
