What u are saying is true. I was asked to leave the organization at the age of 45. I found it very difficult to find a new job. Most of the companies did not take my interview as they had a cutoff age of 35. I had a family to support and realized that I was nothing but a piece of sugarcane as explained by you. By God's grace & lot of struggle, I found a new job at 47 & am working very happily at present.
You are in IT filed or marketing ?
Save your money asap. You may have only a few years more to earn.
Save and invest every penny.
@@chetanshukla768lol every tom dick and Gerry talks the same thing.
only option is reduce expense and invest money on return above 15%
Sir forget 45, I'm in early 30s and we are thinking to quit no later than 40. The work stress is way too much
'Human Resources Development" should change to "Human Exploitation Development". That's what they generally do.
Those come out of good colleges are very professional and educated but some are like rural and uneducated like
Very True, it is so unfortunate, but the biggest success in India has now become to leave India. I am an IT Architect with 20 years experience and 40 years of age, and what you said is correct, word to word.
Where will you go sir

Sir you're absolutely right. Corporate culture in India is turning into Curse.
Yes, it really is.
I worked in a top multinational for 27 years. I was thrown out as i refused to compromise on ethics. Those who were above me got the position by doing chamchagiri and they were poor performers throughout. At 49 years of age i started my own bussiness now i have got motivated employees and we are earning decently since laat 5 years and plan to expand further. I fully agree with you sir

If I would have known that retirement was at 45 I would have been careful in my 20s when I did not save in spite of good salary.
At 33 i have taken retirement basis my savings and investments. I am highly skilled IT talent but i really don't see things working out for long in those industries. Mental turmoil is very high. Trust me.
In a city like Mumbai it is stressful to work because of the poor infrastructure..bad roads, overcrowded trains, time taking busses. Burnout used to happen in the past, it happens now and will happen in the future. Not having any work to do is much much more stressful than doing work which is stressful. You just need a good break to rejuvenate yourself and start fresh. Being pessimistic and overthinking will not lead you anywhere. Things may not work like you have planned. We may not have a lifelong job like our parents did but this is how it is. You may have to settle for less but that is ok. Try to save more during your good times so you can sail through during tough times
Yes agree with you
This corporate world is so unscrupulous. Average employee won't survive.
I decided to start a cow farm or simple shop in my village after attaining the age 45.
"Died on Road" with " Mobile in hand'. Sounds rude, but, we are heading towards it.
Intresting to know the person behind all the great content on real estate. I too took retirement from government job ,at 42 as I felt injustice on me. Did law to ensure it doesn't happen again in life. Hence enjoy ure content a lot. Ure real call is activism I presume.
I left my job at age of 52 in Mumbai . Worked with MNC For 32 years work less promotion . Joined LIC as an agent after passing LIC exam . Now I am independent . No boss . Just bring business and earn commissions . Many agents are earning good income full time r part time . Thxnjx for Giant LIC .

From what I’ve personally learned and experienced is to constantly update yourselves. Spend at least 20 hours each week to learn, study, get new degrees etc. keep yourselves relevant as long as you want to work- you will probably never be out of a job.
Save 40% of your earnings, don’t compete with the Jones’s and you will also have a good nest egg.
I’m 61, still keeping an active work life and can call it quits anytime.
Just my 2 cents- been through this lifecycle!
This is the reality of Corporate and specially SALES !! Ty for saying it out loud
Absolutely true Mr.Rao..U have deep and true understanding of the office culture ,Also your psychological analysis is good to watch. Good to see that people like u are eye opener to the society.

jaise Bhagwat Geeta me likha hai jo Kal kisi ka tha woh aaj tumara hoga aur aane wala Kal kisi aur ka. what goes around comes around. so live humbly and gracefully, focus on being a better person not rich person.
😎Couple of decades back, human resources department was called PERSONNEL. Since then, corporations started viewing humans as a resource to be exploited for the benefit of the corporation in exchange for salary. If this is not indignity, then what's indignity?
this can actually happen in india in the coming few yrs kyun ki pehle not many ppl used to take education so market mein educated logo ki kami thi pechle 20-30 saalo mein all r taking education so market mein there r is always availability in abudance of fresh work force to exploit by corporates, govt ko waise bhi kuch padi hain na kisi ki bus kisi tarah chori chamari karke bus power mein rehna chahte hain toh i dont think they ll make any policies to avoid this kinda situation
Genuine topic. Please make a video on moonlighting matter. Although I am not from IT but I doubt there is some fishy in Wipro's firing of 300 people.
I have seen your previous video, being a media person, you have very well articulated the situation. your sensitivity to things around you is still great.
We get adult at 18 and retire at 40. Only 22 years of life.
VERY WELL SAID. this is truth and fact of today.
Great life story. That is how life goes. I have a similar story but from a naukari perspective and different set of circumstances.
It only goes to show things are uncertain in life , one must adopt and at the same time when things are good one must save and invest for the rainy days because everyone will face the retired days sooner or later . At that time one must not be caught financially, family wise and health wise with ones pants down.
Good to see such videos also
Thank you.
Ageism and Discrimination at work , corporate bullies , bad bosses and toxic work culture.
Thanks for bringing the important subject. Depression is the new pandemic this age.
You remembered me my old young days when I used to use XT/AT 386 PC.
Golden words...sir
Business I'm not sure but jobs by and large every day beyond 40 is a bonus in the modern job world. Technology, business environment, business systems have evolved a lot now.
Blue collar workers, age doesn't matter as long as productivity is there.
IT people will say skills are important but a fresher is available for 3.6 lpa and a 10 years experience professional commands 12-14 lpa. So there will be some rare people even with packages of 1cr pa and the rest will be filled with freshers and a few with 5-7 lpa
Very Very True..
Very Nicely Narrated..
As if my story !
Sad state of affairs. So how does one survive and support a family at this age?
Hey Krish you should have said My Story in thumbnail. I would have missed it. Need part 2
People do the opposite. When you are full of energy and willing to work 14 hours a day then you should do your own business and when you are more than 40 years old then join very big corporate and do the ordinary job and take care of your health and take the weekends and maintain quality of life.
very true and totally relatable
Meanwhile, here in the UK, the retirement age is going up...!!!
It's 67 at the moment....😮😮😮
Don't be deceived by a retirement age of 60 years. In the private sector it is 50 years or less. IT employees should think about retirement by 45. Beyond 45 years bonus. Plan accordingly.
Very true
High margins cannot be enjoyed by a company for too long because sooner or letter market Discovers and attacks margin

True to the core
Most of the people not happy with their job..we choose money over our dream job and think one day will do dream jobs
All this is 100 percent applicable in BPO sector.
In all sectors it is true.
Namaste 1) Life is now an individual /small family - which does not have the protection of a joint family. So the rewards versus effort ratio is very low
2) Author is quiet right that there is such a sweep of technology - you get outdated very quickly, all the more routine desk jobs are disappearing.
3) Also due to inflation, what were "affordable" 20 years back is simply out of reach for the middle class. Again, CAPITAL is required to start any new business and nothing comes in small measure.
4) All cannot be intelligent, highly educated, IT experts - such category not belonging to this group will be pushed to poor class gradually.
5) With such economic pressure, depression - alcoholism - drugs habits will increase upon the present generation. Result more SICKNESS/Diseases - guaranteed. Even the women won't be spared.

Very much fakeness and selflessness also increased ✅🙏...well said it's ..just how to survive

I am new to the stock market. Every stock that I bought so far, I was out of luck because I bought them when they were expensive. I feel I missed out on all the stock opportunities so far for the tech stocks. I believe having 75K yearly income would be a good investment so I want to plug all my savings into the stock market. I know this sounds a bit dull but I would like to know if I should learn investing or let somebody else (more capable like a FA) do it for me? Please share your thoughts. I am kind of tired of searching for a good stock to buy and losing all the good opportunities

Namaste jee.. Actually without giving it a thought, today this age i.e. 45-55 is coming under mid age crisis type situation. They are not more accepted for job etc also.. unless they stick from early time somewhere. So best is to start looking for long term option from 40 age also... and look for slow and steady growth... else, rejection or if one leave job etc they dont get easy chances...

What should we do if we plan to retire early
Invest in equity/debt/hybrid/mutualfund/FD/LIC/PostOffice and earn and live with freedom.
Also apart from points in first reply comment , you must have atleast one house (preferably buy your own plot and build in Government approved sector as they have lowest maintenance costs unlike societies).
Reason : you don't want to be paying rents or high maintenance costs in societies when you retire.
Thank you
Ohh BTW add LIC Pension plans(upto age 100) ,NPS,PPF, Atal pension yojna and Epfo pension to the above list. They are solid pension plans with stable income sources. Also use Long term Government/PSU bonds and interest of Sovereign Gold bonds to supplement all income sources.
The idea is get money from multiple stable sources backed with Government guarantee or highly stable guarantees (like sbi or lic).
Even Twitter CEO lost his job,
Bro Pagal maat bano he has 50 million..... they don't need job

I am not agree retire at 45 but everyone should get financial freedom.
Very few want to retire ar 45 , but he means circumstances forcing one into retirement.
That is something that happens involuntarily.

Basically I would advise youngsters to stick to one job and don't be over ambitious or money minded. Be good to your boss if they show partiality and don't get into office politics. Just do your work and come home and aim for peace. If you don't have peace of mind then you could fall sick due to stress. Don't run after money and glamour as presented in you tube. Don't look for fancy stuff. Don't try to change things, if you try to change your present situation some other bad situation may crop up. Make friends.

Reminds me of a Crime Patrol episode where person left his job , made lots of money in stock market 💰 for a couple of years and then suddenly by 2008 lost all his money . He took money from debt collectors and couldn't recover. His wife was working but even she couldn't pay interest , let alone capital amount. Finally under harrassment he killed entire family including children after losing all hope.
So ppl who do such things (like what you want to do ) end up destroying their and their family lives.
Good luck to you 👍.

It's true.
People don't want managers and Sr Managers above 45 years.
Even at 43-44, it's difficult to find jobs post COrona period.
That's because most vacancies were filled by younger people at much lower cost even though they weren't having the requisite experience
