I like this game, the lack of looping is probably the worst part of it, but it's still harder than a 1-All of Raiden IV i guess. Oh and the lack of horizontal scrolling is also weird. 24:05 must be the epitome of "easy patterns that look scary" btw
Lots of the bullets in the game are way more intimidating than they actually are. Knowing when to tap dodge and which weapons to use is enough to wipe out the bosses.
no TLB... and the LB seemed boring .-. maybe raiden 3 was made by moss to do warmups... before making a greater raiden project comebacks... raiden IV seemed a great successor
EDIT: Sikraiken just informed me that the speed changes ONLY occur in single player sessions, but so far I am only seeing speed differences between the ships in Raiden DX. Yo Jaimers, just wanted to run by you real quick I tested this out on the original Steam version and both ships moved at the same speeds in all directions, at least at the very beginning of a run. I'm visiting the different Raiden games and ports right now to figure out which games truly have different movement between the two ship sides. There's not some weird thing like the ships changing speed based on power up level or anything like that is there?
Cool, a Cyber Front port. They also did Raiden II and Darius Gaiden waybackwhen (late 90s I think). How does this version compare to the one you can buy off Steam?
I think 1P has better horizontal movement while 2P has better vertical movement speed At least this is what's supposed to work in OG Raiden, Raiden 2 and DX

Not a bad game but all of his errors are resolved in Raiden IV what i think is one of the best of the saga

i'd restart in frustration if i'd die on st2 boss, but you carried on and beat the game, nice.
I also think he should have used his bombs, i have this problem too... :s
somehow that 3d intro is a lot cheesier than the attemp they made back in raiden project.

Why does this franchise insist on difficult to see bullets? The only result you get from that is surprise deaths which is pretty unfun.
