      No worries, Believe me ive been in a great position and darn near starving at different times of life. I dont rely on youtube as an income (good thing cause it doesn't make money for me. But someday it may be profitable : ) I do this for the love of sharing however.

      There's a volkswagon done in wicked paints a few years ago you might can catch photos of.
      I've done a few large scale panels like this. I maybe should do a large scale something again in rust look... i really liked the industrial look before it became cool.

    Have you tried turning your air pressure down ( like with painting rock ) to get splattered effect? I saw a guy do it with airbrush chiseled stone video your technique will also help me create awesome textures... thank you

    • @TheAIRspace
      @TheAIRspace  4 роки тому

      I do that a lot as well, but you wont get those huge splatters like that. In this case i just grabbed what was handy,,, a clothespin works well. Thanks!

    First time viewer and a newbie to air brushing. Like the video so far, cool effect but you mentioned a product called 4030 and I'm not exactly sure what that is. I'm assuming it's a dealer but other than that I don't know. Also where can I buy it? Great job and I'm subscribing right now!!

      4030 is a product made by createx, It is used as an intercoat clear, as well as a mixture for making softer paints harder. IE if you use createx illustrations they rewet and remain soft for a bit.. its intentional. by adding 4030 they become more of an acrylic urethane paint.
      Glad to have you here! as for buying 4030 if you go to kit.co/wleonartistry I have several buying guides there covering materials and equipment I use. I believe 4030 is listed in one of those paint lists. If not I will correct :)

    Hi Bill, I'm still loving your videos my friend. Have you tried the Crackle effect using PVA GLUE and not the crackle medium? In my opinion it looks the Ducks Nut's when used over rust base.
    Take care my friend, I always give your videos the THUMB'S UP👍😷👍. My health not been too good for a while so not been on here but hopefully I'll be catching up on the videos.

      ive done the pva glue crackle yes.. both brushed and with a spray gun. But its been some time.
      Seeing as how im pretty slow updated and took some months off, i doubt you missed too many I think I only published 14 videos last year :/

    Theres an artist named Axel Kriloff that uses sheets of metal and does some sort of fuckin magic to rust them into different designs.. He has also done many album covers for the band "Dirge"...

    • @TheAIRspace
      @TheAIRspace  3 роки тому +1

      You can add various different chemicals to create rust and patina effects on metal. And I've played with it some, however it's pretty messy. Some beautiful looks can be created of course.

      @@TheAIRspace Cool! I really wanna try it someday but idk if it will work lol, the other problem is.. where tf am i gonna find metal sheets around where i live that arent already rusted? lol
