Me (31 years old) and my 4 year old son just watched this last night and he couldn’t take his eyes off of the movie it took me back to being a kid. And then the soundtrack starts and all the feels kick in! Truly a masterpiece thank you Phil for the memories now that I can pass on to my son
I was a 9 year old girl when I saw Tarzan at the cinema and from that moment I was impressed and in love with the songs, the drums and Phil Collins. Years ago I finally fulfilled my dream of going to one of his concerts, here in my country, Italy. Now I am very sad that he is not in good health... I love you Phil, thank you for all, from my heart 💓 ☀️ 🌌
Honesty, my all time favourite movie since my childhood. Legendary soundtrack by Phil Collins, The Cast, the storyline, and the characters. Till this day, this movie and soundtrack brings me joy and a bit of tears to my eyes. If you asked me to describe this movie, I couldn't fit it all in this box. This film once out carried many childhoods espically with my generation, and some of these music literally give sentimental meaning to my past experiences, and life. Pure legend of a film.
Brother, haven't related to a comment more in a very long time. Tarzan will always be my favorite. The animation, the landscape, the fight with sibor, and of course the most incredible sounds track/design ever heard in an animated film. I always and will always come back to this movie

One of most beautiful Cartoon soundtracks ever. Exactly gave me tears of Nostalgia. I am still crying and typing. There is not one song which does not play with our emotions here.

@PhilCollinsMusic I’m reading his book...And just finished the chapter about him doing the music to this movie... But one thing he didn’t say... I know he read the script. I wonder 💭 if when he was writing the songs, did he improvise the way he’s always done (Which, I didn’t know until reading his book... That proves what a lyrical & musical genius he is b/c that’s unheard of for most songwriters of his genre.) OR did he actually sit down & write. I remember reading, “I sat down & began writing...” but I want to know if he actually was writing lyrics or music in his own unique way... B/C I also learned he can’t read nor write music. But, he can write out his own version of music that he can read... And, his band members learned to read. I’m just curious. He’s a fascinating man.

I have heared some people that claim that the music in Disney film is like to Childly and its just anoying I think Tarzan the Movie is the right opposite of it Not only created it hundereds of thousands good Memories, i would go so far out to claim, if you dont know that some songs from the Movie are from the Movie you would still vibe to the music because you think that are like"Normal" songs. For example songs from Queen,ABBA etc I thimk you should understand what i mean Sure sometimes its annoying to watch a Disney movie and they sing all the time but The Music just is a part of the Movie because its supposed to create an athmosphere. Like imagine the scene in Tarzan where The Family gets to the island and the Monkey gets captured from the Jaguar (Not sure if it is one) without the Music and just some text that they say.
