I don't think Phil Collins realizes that impact that he has had on an entire generation let alone the planet He's being so humble Which is great But I wish he could see how much we love him
The greatest! I met him at concert with Genesis and was soooo very impressed with how humble, talented and exuberant he is. The music was perfection! My entire family has enjoyed his music career and we feel really fortunate to have been able to listen to such a wonderful entertainer! I hope we will hear more! He's absolutely 💯 the real deal!
Tarzan Phil Colin's was my big first input into him. Yes I heard his solo hits before it as kid. But his work on the animated film soundtrack and asked to speak dif languages blew my mind. 🎉🎉🎉🎉 I cry anytime I watch the making of or any ad or parts of movie his songs come on or 2nd. It always gets me everytime. I have my own versions of these tracks yet to release for fun with a different style and unique take. A pure honoring with the balls and a voicing impossible from from phil. But I will always love the original workings
Great warm and lovely interview. Just as we have come to expect from Dan Rather. I love that the basis for his Oscar winning song came from a lullaby for his daughter Lily (yes, THAT Lily). Regarding listening to music in the car or on the computer......PHIL, you like jazz......turn in to KUVO in Denver, our public radio jazz station. One of the best in the world. I seldom change the dial.
I'd love to hear him talk about the Golden Jubilee Party at the Palace where and Roger Taylor split duties in a cross-genre, cross-generational concert like no other.
