Man I'm slowly starting to feel old, music when I was in high school is starting to play on the oldies station, I will be able to file for an antique license on my mustang in 1 or 2 years and things from 2000 are considering vintage lol. 36 feels like 65

To make you feel younger, my parents who are in their 40s still call people in their 30s "youngsters".

Looking through the toy section of the JCPenney Christmas catalog used to be one of my favorite parts of Christmas as a kid!! I would've been 6 in 2000, so there's a good chance I looked at this when it was new. This is perfect to fall asleep to on Christmas eve. Merry Christmas! 🎅🏻
Edit: After watching, I most certainly think I looked through this one as a kid. Sooo many of the toys sparked memories I had no idea I still had. I think my parents must have ordered our whole Christmas from this catalog. I saw at least a dozen toys we had. This was so enjoyable. 😌

Just like a lot of people here, seeing this stuff really brought me back to a time when I could actually answer the question "What do you want for Christmas?". The nostalgia is nice, and much needed, this Christmas when a lot of us can't have that Christmas we are so used to having. Great video and thanks for the trip back to my own childhood!

I was turning 6 right around Christmas this year. The toy section gave me serious nostalgic feels. Specifically the bmx set and the model engine as I had both, as well as the Sony digital mavica camera which was my grandparents📸
I’m in my late 30’s but this even brought back some memories for me. I also have to say.. I adore your videos. You are so nurturing and comforting in a fatherly way which I love so much. I remember seeing the old Major Matt Mason Space Crawler in a catalog like this from the late 60s. It brought back great memories of a toy I thought til then only existed in my dreams.

31:34 is where you start speaking my language. I graduated high school in 2000 so I vividly remember this catalog in particular and for me it was always the video games. I most def asked for a Dreamcast at the time.
30:50 We had that game as kids! I would’ve been 11 in 2000 and can VIVIDLY remember playing that game for hours and hours. We even had the VHS player 😃

19:57 Those robots in the top right corner with the wires attached from the robot to the controller just brought back a memory of one Christmas when my dad got me a remote control car (which is something I was really interested in getting at the time) and he had just picked a random one and didn’t look too carefully at the box.
When we opened it up we discovered it was made with the controller attached to the car with a short (maybe three foot?) wire just like those robots...except the whole point of a remote control car is to be able to move it all around without having to chase after it, stooped over because of a short wire. Whoever designed that car really screwed up. The car was returned right away for a better one. 😅 I can’t understand how that first car ever made it onto shelves with such a bad design flaw.
