Last time I cased a jump my nuts absorbed the impact.
Wish I would’ve watched this video before then.
I just tape one to the inside of each leg or tuck both into my sock if its really hot out
Sorry to be so off topic but does someone know a method to get back into an instagram account??
I somehow forgot the account password. I would appreciate any tips you can give me.
@Keaton Sergio instablaster =)
Loving the video and wealth of knowledge. You guys truly make it ez to understand.
If anyone wants to learn about Jesus Christ reply
I am 64 years old and grew tires of street 100% of the time. Bought a 02 yz426f and some proper gear. Watching MX Factory. Working out.
Push ups. Squats. Balls I have so the day is today later. 2 am now. Hoping to nail a couple small jumps.
I will let ya all know if I text from home or room 13 at my local hospital.
Mesa AZ.
I'm 52 and wanting to learn to jump as well, here in Apache Junction
i love avoiding crashing so i’ll have to watch !
But then when u are in air u doesn't do those u usually just thinking "noooOooOOOOOUUU" :D
Oof the guy that broke his legs😳
I'm old and tend to sit on all jumps. I kind of use that if I ever come up short. Mid-air with my butt still on the saddle and legs coiled, just before the landing and I mean JUST before the landing I uncoil and thrust the bike into the landing with my legs (WHHOOMP!) making it absorb the brunt of it. It's a horrific thing to do to the bike but hey it can take it and I can't. The rebound bounce isn't too bad either because while the bike is rebounding my mass is coming down at the same time to meet it. Everything gets soaked up.
Love you Guys.
Speaking of push ups, could you guys make a video on fitness for mx?
Early wines mx track that’s dope!!!!

Ur videos help me so much i finally feel the confidence of going for a big table top tysm❤️
Thanks for sharing video
Nice being waiting for this video.! Thanks guys.!!
I don't want to know how to case a jump lol but learning how avoid crashing might help.
I cased a jump a few weeks ago i thought it was a table so i was not worried and it ended up being a 50ft double and i heard my back "pop" and rode 3 weeks with a compression fracture in my t12 off track until jan 3.
Awesome
Thanks for this great video buddy!
Have a great weekend guys!!!!
2:21 How he rode out of that I will never know. Seeing is not believing right there. Or I guess it is. :-) Still hard to comprehend.
What I have found in jumping a dirt bike. It a good idea to tighten up the rebound so there is less deflection from the springs and shocks.
Can you please do one on how to case a step up like the smaller one at budds creek please
0:48 yeah I did that and sprained my ankle😂
dude you released this the day i cased a jumped and crashed
Did you guys check out my crash video for your friday fails video?
I cased so hard back in 09 that I still can’t have any kids... and I’ve been trying
Oh shit
F
Bro fr?
Damn
Yo, you get that kid yet bro?
There I am again first video casing haha
Dude you are a beauty
Love ya
How to sand section/riding?!
First comment 👊 New Zealand 🤙
F I R S T I AM PROUD
Yoooo would be so good if I won a dirt bike I’ve had a crappy 140cc for ages would appreciate brother 🙏🏽💯😍
Dude I’ve been wanting a bike for 4 years consider your self lucky you’ve got one
Another thing I do when my bike is sideways in the air is I like to land rear wheel first if possible because that usually straightens the bike out.
Torqued Af front wheel does it better tho
do a video on 2 stroke powerband
I severely cased 4 feet deep whoops in the desert on my quad.
I ended up nose diving into the very bottom of the whoop instead of floating on top. It was like hitting a wall.
Lol I saved my self on these tips yesterday
I wish I had watched this video 4 weeks ago.... I did it all wrong...
This would have been nice to know before shattering my collarbone and getting a concussion
i landed side ways expecting to get whacked by the bike, but then i let go of the throttle/decelerate to avoid whisky throttle. and i was safe going to the side of the track.
Question, I have had relatively fast people tell me when you case a jump you should not be on toes so you don't blow your ankles out, is that true?
Yes it’s true
0:47 and you wanna to say - that guy avoid stretching\breaking PTFL (ligaments). Looks very close to it.
What does “case” a jump mean? I thought it meant that you landed incorrectly.
It means to come up short, as in not jumping to the proper area of the landing, which is the backside of the landing.
Stephen Mosca it means u don’t fully clear a jump u land on the next hump of the jump or close to it
are these tips the same for over shooting a jump
Probably pretty similar, but I think you want to land both tires at the same time if you go to the flats
As a beginner will I need to know this at this moment in time , and do u have any tips for a new rider ? ( I ride a yz85 )
Elliott Frame have fun and don’t rush progression
@@lisacollins6430 thats really good advice honestly
Make that 01 yz426f. Ooops. Hey I am old.
I am currently sitting here watching this vid with a broken left ankle (3 places) I cased a 50' double, I had proper foot placement (balls of feet) and nice tech 7 boots but I folded my toes to my shins!!! I never came off the bike and it only broke one ankle even though both saw the same energy loads. I keep trying to figure out what happened!!!??? maybe I'm just getting too old lol. Anyways love the vids but wish this one came out sooner hahahaha
My 08 CRF450R I put on early model Ankle Savers. They are kinda ugly but work really well. You will never know they are there but when you land you think, "well, I guess that should have hurt... but it didn't"
"There are only 2 ways to place your feet on the footpegs, either on the balls of the feet or on the arches. The most common way is on the arches. Just check the bottoms of your boots. I’ll tell you right up front that being comfortable riding on the balls of the feet takes a lot of practice. But when a rider does become comfortable with this technique there are three benefits to it. # 1 you have more body travel, #2 you won’t hit the shifter or rear brake by accident and #3 you won’t get your feet ripped off the foot pegs from your toe hitting the dirt. As I said, for this technique to become natural its takes a lot of the correct type of practice. So don’t throw it out the window if you really want to learn the correct way.
It’s kind of like down hill skiing. It’s easier to keep your feet farther apart when you are a beginner but the pros keep their skis closer together. One place the pros are always on the balls of their feet is through the whoops. If it can be done through the whoops it can be done anywhere on the track.
The only acceptation is if you're going to land hard from a jump or even case a jump. In this case you would want to be on the arches of your feet so you don't sprain your ankles. Just make sure you have your toes pointed out a little so you don't hit the shifter or rear brake by accident. It all comes with knowing the correct techniques and a lot of quality practice time. Have you checked the bottoms of your boots lately? www.gsmxs.com

I wish i had 85
Do a bail off when your jumping video
Woo cutie I mean good vids
1st
to avoid broken ankles you need stay on the arches of your foot, not on the balls of your foot - during have landing - is it true?
No, it’s not. You need to strengthen and stretch your ankles and lower leg muscles to avoid injury! Good luck and thanks for watching MXF!
@@TheMxFactory thank you for that answer
As if ur average rider looked like that buff guy in the diagram at the start of the vid 😂
How to crash video next
I squeeze my knees tite to the tank. Stock suspension can't take a big tripple. Modified suspension can take the impacte. IN that video a stock suspension could have never took that hit no way.
No it def can’t. Stock suspension on a sx triple and you would have been picking metal out of your teeth for a month.
I dont know about the landing on the balls of your feet. Thats a good way to hurt an ankle
RIP My nuts.... wish i wouldve watched this before..
Oh man this is terrible advice. Dont do any of these you will get severly injured. I cased a double the same way the first tip says and shattered my ankle. It took 8 months before i could walk again
Me too over extended everything and fractured ankle socket from being on my toes when I hit
@oakrdrs 2006 so what are we supposed to do?
