Although the show was sold out we were able to sneak in to see Santa live …with the stars above. Unforgettable even 44 years later…
My dad loved this song along with all of Santana's hits but I was 4 yrs old hearing this on Sundays while he'd be washing his 57 Chevy at the car wash, my job was to dry the Tru Spokes and put the skirts on for the family cruise at the park. I'm 47 yrs old now and it feels just like yesterday. So I look up to the sky and say this is for you Bud.. RIP

Whenever you can, if you truly know and love 💕 genuine genius level infusion of Latino inspired, Rock and roll mixed in with Carlos and his different bands and collaborations throughout the years he was on FIRE 🔥. A life force so strong, healing and soothing to a person like me. Unfortunately, my dad was into Beatles, Bob Dylan etc. Folk music and innovative at the same time. With the exception being Rolling Stones, thanks dad wherever you may be RIP! So I discovered Carlos on my own bc growing up I was in same area, Bay Area and each and every time Santana would mesmerize me, LIVE. See this master if at all possible whenever possible. Deeply ingrained into my fondest memories forever!

I have never been to one of his wonderful concerts or seen him in person but I will tell you that my late husband and I and our son adore his fantastic and awesome Gift from GOD Talent. He is a beautiful presence in our world. God Bless Him and His Family. Amen.

This song makes me think of my family and my home country of Mexico. It’s sad. Just like a lot of the situations in our country. But there is hope. Santa is a part of that hope. Truly an amazing guitarist and artist. Viva Mexico.
